What the ????

I'm reading these posts and thinking about replying ...then I notice ...2005?

I realize PoF is free, but that's no excuse for leaving all these 'out of date' posts all over the place ...or is this a 'stocking the shelves with blanks to make up space' thing?

I'm thinking it's time to freshen up and do some post cleaning Mr or Ms Moderators

Forum noun, (pl. "fora" or "forums")
1. An Online Community where Visitors may read and post Topic of common Interest.

2. Any Discussion Group where Users submit Postings for all to read and Discussion ensues.

3. An Online Discussion Group, which provide a Variety of Forums, in which Participants with common Interests can exchange open Messages. Reading a Forum's Archives can be a good Way to obtain a basic Knowledge about a Topic, and it also provides a historical Perspective on Trends and Opinions.

4. Also commonly referred to as Discussion Board, Web Forums, Message Board or Bulletin Boards

Forums are also meant to be a historical tracking of trends in opinions - hence why it is important to give your thread subject a valid searchable topic - not "What the ???" as it's useless for searching on subjects.

Wander over to Plentyoffish Site/Suggestions/Help forum and search on "Forums" using the FORUM Thread Search Tool to find many discussions on the subject.

The correct method of posting would be to add your opinion to an exisitng thread where it doesn't matter if the poster is gone, as one replies to the thread subject, not the poster.

Forum posting rules are at the top of each forum:
