Posted: 3/2/2008 11:31:24 AM | like if your interested in a guy, will u have ur friends look at it and confirm? i ask cuz there has been a few times i start talking to a girl, get like 2 views from girls in her area...then never hear from her again. so are we having to have to appeal 2 u and ur friends? | |

So ya we see who's written to each other and also show each other who we think are cuties, sweet and so on. :)
I think for myself and therefore my friends opinion is not taking into consideration unless you have written to her and were vulgar or what not. It'd be stupid on anyones part to not talk to someone because their friend said they weren't attractive or what not......we each have our own opinions. | |

i sit here with a male buddy and check out the womens profiles and we discuss who would be the best ones to contact based on good looks, what they have wrote, whether she is too demanding, friendly, smiles..etc, etc.......not in that order tho .........lol
tho i have to say that a lovely smile and a non demanding profile are tops of both our lists when looking at womens profiles.
boobs out ( well cleavage ) and silly seductive pouty poses are turn offs ladies. | |

Ive never done that. one time i was talking with a girl and she sent me a pic of her (fully clothed nothing raunchy) and resent it to one of my buddies but that was it lol | |

I show my friends profiles but what they say doesn't change anything between that person and myself.
That's what I did while dating! I wanted to share who I was interested in - but the ultimate decision to meet them was my own. | |

I dont talk to her friends, sometimes i might look at their profile, if and only if they left a testimonial and i'm sure they actually now each other.
My friends haven't left testimonals on my page...therefore it's pretty much luck of the draw...but a couple of guys will contact all of us...which is cool, until you get the guy who writes to one of us in a vulgar manner. Then it's discussed between us and who too look out for. I don't base who I talk to around my friends though. I'm not petty like that. Only if I'm told you've been rude.
I only show profiles to my friends of guys who I have been chatting with for awhile...or I think it's someone that they would get along great with... | |

Only to confirm whether or not we've receive the exact same emails from the same man, or if he's been pursuing her while claiming to be enamored with me.

i maaaaaaaaay have done that. im pretty sure i havent but it is a possibility. but if were just talking online i dont see where that is an issue. talking online isnt a full on commites relationship and i expect ur talking to other guys too. if i find a girl i like and start talking to her face to face then yea i kinda leave my POF profile alone and only mess around on the forums. but before that...no | |

Feeding women the exact same lines means whatever you're saying is meaningless.
Making a date with someone you're interested in, and telling her all the reasons why you're interested in her... while sending out emails to 20 other women the night before your date with the same lines would make me think you're insincere.
No one mentioned the words committed relationship.
I'm talking about differentiating between the guy trying for a date with ANYONE WHO'LL RESPOND vs. the men looking for a date with ME. | |
