We've been discussing in a few other TN threads that these things are not always terribly easy to rally the troops in Tennessee for Meet & Greet type affairs. But if folks have quite a bit of notice, things seem to work out okay, if not quite as enthusiasticly as some other areas for some reason.
I'm in Middle TN myself. But I know of at least a couple of folks that might be interested over your way. Have you settled on a date for this event? And is there an associated cover-charge? Or is it just a freebie get-together? Sounds like it might be a fun place though.
Also be aware that once everything is all set, the POF Sysop will put up a link in everybody's Inbox (in that area) to the sign-up thread, if you want folks to commit to it in advance.

Also, your direction to CEJ's are almost complete, but you also didn't give the street name that it's on. Those directions may be clear to you, but again, out-of-town folks may want more to go on than "the first left". | |

AND IF TAKING I-40-EAST, GO TO EXIT 374 AND TURN LEFT ONTO LOVELL RD, THEN GO THRU LITE, AND TURN LEFT AT THE FIRST STREET ON THE LEFT. THEN FOLLOW IT DOWN. COTTON EYED JOE WILL BE ON THE LEFT
Cotton Eyed Joe's address (so you can do a mapquest search for directions from your home): 11220 Outlet Drive, Knoxville, TN 37932. If you use mapquest or yahoo maps it mentions a "U-TURN at Simmons Rd".. and mentions turning left if coming West when you actually turn right.. kind of confusing b/c I don't remember ever doing a U-Turn.. just turning right off the exit, and left off Lovell Rd. and following that road down to the club. So follow Thunderwolfe's directions on which way to turn off the interstate whether you're coming East or West and turn at the first street on the left (after going thru the light) and follow it down to CEJ's. I think maybe mapquest and yahoo maps have OLD directions.

Its a great place for a gathering and not very expensive to get in there. (If you will go to the left when you walk in the door to the pool tables then right to the tables close to the restrooms. Its a great spot for large gatherings there. ) There is a motel just like 200 feet down the street on the same side. Have stayed there before and it is reasonable rates there. You can walk to Cotton Eyed Joes for those of us that mite have to much to drink. **No drunk driving that way, but there is also another motel just down the street and across one intersection there. Also a nice enough motel............ ( Who knows never know when I and a few friends mite show up to this one in Knoxville )**MYSELF AND CANDYKISSESFORME, among others may show up, since I know the place and my way around there. I use to date someone from Knoxville (long time ago) like 5 years ago and we went to CEJ's many times............ Have a good one there, and hope, myself and a friend or two will come with me if I decide to come that way. Enjoy any way ! ! ! | |

so if you..friends are anybody has to much  please let one of us know..will get you to that room..or give u a ride to i hop..it's close and open 24 hours... who knows maybe we will have enough who want to meet for breakfast the next morning..even could go so far to hook up for supper before CEJ'S..
..this is really a meet and greet..please don't take it as a free for all..we are adults..hope all are coming to dance..laugh..ride the bull..for some..not me..have a meet and greet that makes everybody in Tn..wants to come to the next one...

thunder u ever gonna come back the ladies are way outnumbering us here..while don't mind....could use help guys..it should be close to 1-1 not 4-1!! also how would u know if another person there is from pof or not..it's a public place ..anybody can come..beads..name tags..wrist bands..something..just so u can say hi..alot of people will be first time coming..want them to feel WELCOME...we have had what, only 6 in the past 8 years..

PGA= Pure grain alcohol....... lol........ Sorry I missed the fun today was just a bad day for me......... Ill make it up , trust me ..............the PGA comes in a fish bowl. LOL yes I said a fish bowl..... two of those and no one will be walking out without help. As for me I will stick to my margaritas......... They are not fruity but they carried a great kick LOL ........I look forward to being in Knox again, its been a year since I have been thru there.......ok well i came thru going to the mountains in Nov. but I didnt stop to dance.
You better have your dancing shoes on cause with 3 - 1 odds your going to be doing alot of dancing..........I look forward to seeing any one and meeting any that show up....... You dont have to be looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend to come .... Just come and enjoy the night.
Oh and the back corner for a meet and greet is better than the spot Thunderwolfe is talking about........Because that part of the bar feels up a little slower and its great for a spot to meet. I know because we use to have meet and greats from another place in there..............We would all try to go to the same hotel so we could have fun and do dinner together and things before we went dancing. IT WAS A BLAST>.....
