| Riders of POF Posted: 3/6/2008 8:48:12 AM | I would like to organize the Men and Women from POF who own motorcycles for a ride on Sunday May 31st. This will be open to all makes and models - Wallets and Purses. If this goes somewhere we could have it become a monthly or bi-monthly event.

| Riders of POF Posted: 3/6/2008 6:37:45 PM | I've not been real active on POF these past few months, but i might be up to doing something like this as a get-together to get back in the mix.. i'll keep lurking and monitoring the thread for developments in the lead-up to May 31st.
And yes, as my user nick hints at, i've got a sidecar rig, with an empty seat for whomever may be interested

| Riders of POF Posted: 3/11/2008 8:09:44 PM | Organizing a ride sounds like a grand idea. yet the questions of where to met up and destiniation(s) should be addressed. I'm in the NE, Untill recently breakfast at Marcus Dairy in Danbury CT would be a Sunday morning ride. Time can be a factor, Breakfast ride, Brunch ride, Lunch ride, Will anyone ride pillion or is every one solo? Well I've an older sport bike with no passenger pad. For a lady in her late 40's to early 50's a gel pad placed over a cargo rack would not be the height of comfort if she rode as a passenger for any distance. As for my other motorcycle, its got a sidecar and a top speed of 50mph, not an ideal ride again for any distance and definetely not meant for the interstate. I'll leave the keys in the ignition and it won't be stolen. Something about kickstart only.....
Still good luck getting a ride organized.

Totally kidding of course. I'd pretty much have to bring it in a box. The old girl needs a little work. ;)

| Riders of POF Posted: 3/23/2008 10:43:26 PM | Nothings started up yet but Thursday nights at the Wingshack in Whitby . $10.00 all you can eat wings and usually about 50-60 bikes. Avoid the late night runs some of the boys go on, its hard to keep up.
I am always up for a ride with a fellow 2 wheeler.
