Posted: 3/11/2008 2:37:28 PM | | I think Nascar should take a page out if the American Lemans Series - which runs Grand Touring 1 (GT1), Grand Touring 2 (GT2), Prototype 1 (P1) and Prototype 2 (P2), - and run Sprint, Nationwide, and the Truck all at the same time. I bet Martinsville and Bristol would be AWESOME to watch !!! Could you imagine what life would be like on pit road with teams having to share pit boxes? | |

Everyone wants to see them crash; why not bleed too (just kidding) but it seems that way especially at Bristol-where within 10 laps the lead lap cars are mixed in with the lap cars...boring.

Posted: 3/12/2008 6:54:42 AM | | If NASCAR is really concerned about cost as they insinuate with their Car Of Trash then maybe they should run all 3 divisions on the same track at the same time for either 10 hours or 1,000 miles. While a typical race under the current method is 500 miles and 2.5 - 3.5 hrs green flag to checkered flag, having the dimension of having all 3 the divisions one the track at one time one could net gestimate how long it would take. But I bet Martinsville would finish with the 10 hour rule verses 1,000 miles !!! | |

Running all 3 series together on that track (not mentioning, running three wide at the start) - would take weeks to finish, as cautions would be thrown every lap. That said, might as well leave it as a demolition derby - last car running, wins. | |

Have you really got the balls to pass on a hill with a curve at 175 mph?
And at every other lap you have to chug down a beer.
