Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park is set in a picturesque location just outside the heritage city of Chichester, and is part of the South Downs linking Hampshire and Sussex. The park is ideal for those who wish to relax in the great outdoors, admiring the commanding views over our ten large fishing lakes stretching out over 150 acres.
Take leisurely strolls around the park on the nature trail, the Kingfisher licensed bar is the place to go if you want to enjoy a quiet drink, or why not sit back and unwind on the patio and deck area stretching out over the lake. There’s something for everyone from making a splash in the heated outdoor pool to endless fun at Lakeside’s entertainment complex with live acts, cabaret, karaoke, theme evenings and much more!

Chichester A27 continue forward.
Entering Havant, at Fishbourne roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Chichester By Pass - A27 (signposted Brighton).
At Stockbridge Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Chichester By Pass - A27 (signposted Brighton).
At Whyke Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Chichester By Pass - A27 (signposted Brighton, Worthing) A27.
At Bognor Road Roundabout take the 4th exit onto Vinnetrow Road (signposted Pagham), you have reached Lakeside.

Happy to do a FRESH batch of spicey potatoes for this meet, to good to leave sitting in the freezer. Also will see about making a not so spicey version, this batch has a bit of a bite

And Busbybabe will bring her yummy cakes, including a replacment one (hope it's ginger lol)

Gutted 14th March had to be cancelled!
Yep, did make a ginger cake, but will eat that one and make another, my son did say that the apple and cinnamon one was particularly nice!!
Hopefully all the intrepid campers will now sign up to this meet in April and hopefully we will be able to persuade a few more "fair weather" campers to sign up.

I want to say a big sorry and thanks to busby and saucy for all the help they gave me and the effort they have made, i think busby might not be here for a few day if she has already made the jellies, lol. Thanks to everyone that signed up originally and re-signing now. I am also very gratefull to puddles who helped me notify everyone and re-post the meet very quickly and easily.
Right, now for the best bit. Roll on the 18th of April. I reckon we might even get a bigger sign up. Looking forward to it already. Just hope it gets here quick.

Posted: 3/14/2008 7:05:27 AM | Look on the bright side fish4it, at least you can check out your new tent before needing to sleep in it. No trips for gaffer tape to repair holes for a dry night`s kip. 
As for cream eggs in boot of car, well numbers might go down, but when we get the change in weather that we are all hoping for, you might find you have on batch of runny scrambled cream eggs on your hands unless you find some where cool to put them   | |

Posted: 3/18/2008 12:42:58 AM | Good morning Campers, I know the new date is still a month away but the ammount of sign ups is still looking pretty low compared to how many we had before, if you've already signed up brilliant but for those who haven't, come on get signed up, every body let your friends and family know about it, its a month later so should be abit warmer, come on dont be shy lets see if we can beat the previous ammount of sign ups.

Posted: 3/25/2008 2:27:47 AM | Less than four weeks to go and we can finally get camping!! Think all the snow has gone now.
What's happened to all the fishes that were signed up before, where have you gone.
Come on and get signed up, I'm sure the site has got rid of that great lake in the middle of the camp site by now.
Hopefully now we are in the green box we will start to get some old and new fishes signed up for this camp meet - looking forward to the entertainment for the weekend

I for one am not disappointed that the last camp was cancelled. For those that do not know, I was having open heart surgery, and you know how I hate to miss out on things!
Not sure I am going to be up to sleeping on the ground/getting cold/blah blah...but I will definitely make an appearance!
The really shocking news is that after a glass of wine I have pretty much reached my limit these days. I shall work on changing that.
