| Any other POF motorcyclists out there?

I'm a new guy here, and so far I'm enjoying surfing the site and looking around. I'd really like to meet some new people, make some new friends, and see where all of it takes me (or us, should I find someone to be with).
One of the hobbies I'm most passionate about is motorcycling. I've been riding for over 20 years, have a number of track days under my belt, and love carving up the twisty roads in our great state.
That being said, are there any other 'fishes' out there who love riding the twisty roads and having a blast? I'm in to riding up and down the highway, to me straight lines are boring. For me, the twistier the roads, the better. I've always ridden sportbikes, and that's what they are designed for.
If any of you'd like to meet for a ride sometime, I'd enjoy that. What do you say?

| Any other POF motorcyclists out there?
Posted: 3/24/2008 7:10:16 PM | Sounds great to me. What type of riding do you like? For me, it's all about curves. I've never been one to drone on the highway on long rides. My bike (Yamaha YZF-R1) is made for twists and turns. That being said, I do like to go on long ride, just as long as we take the back roads, which are almost always nice and twisty.
When/how often do the other POF riders get together?

I am pretty new here also, this site might turn out to be better for finding friends to ride with than finding women to meet. Any way I ride when ever I get a chance to, have two TT225 yamaha, one KLX kaw, one goldwing and I am always up to go. I go to a lot of sprintcar races during the summer and I always take the bike. First trip that I have planed is to go to ST. Louis fifth and six of april. That is a great ride from Jefferson City to ST. Louis,any welcome to this site. | |

I racked up pver 60,000 miles on that bike. Very bulletproof engine, I didn't baby it, nor did I abuse it either. I'd like to get some folks together when the weather looks nicer and spend some good times meeting new people as well as racking up some more miles. | |

He ordered it out of california and had it shipped to tokyo, japan. I used to race it over there, and have had it on the track here a few times here , i just recently had the entire motor rebuilt, it was n the shop for over a year, they put all new high performance parts in it. This was about two years ago. I think i have about 72000 on it now. | |
