Have you ever played the Cash Flow Game? It's Kowaski's board game. Similar to Monopoly it uses play money and it teaches financial management and principles. I heard it is a lot of fun.

What do you like about it? Anything you didn't like? Any tips on how to win? I hear there are groups that play regularly. Have you ever participated in anything like that? What was it like?

Hi Almond,

I hope all is well.

While I've read the book I've never played the game, sitting down with a group of friends and a bottle of wine to... balance assets vs. liabilities isn't my idea of a good time, but I still wish the information could somehow be transfused into my brain while I sleep because its incredibly useful.

I'm going to stop responding to your posts as I seem to murder them even when good-intentioned.

I don't recall you ever murdering anything. Please respond away.

Apparently the game is fun, kind of like Monopoly. Based on your experience, it sounds like the book is not fun. I will wait to play the game before attempting a read that might be tedious.

I dunno.
It sounds nearly as fun as the bible trivia game my folks made me play when I was a kid
just like trivial pursuit but all about the bible

Apparently it's about as much fun as Monopoly. I'll let you know after I play.

Hello Almond,

I've heard about the cash flow game and know someone who played it in a group in Toronto on a SAturday. She really liked it. Robert Kowasaki was interviewed by Raymond Aaron (a Canadian millionaire) and they spoke about the game in the C.D. The game sounds really interesting. Once you play it, please report if you liked it. Also, where did you get the game and how much was it? I've never seen it in a store.

I still haven't had a chance to play. A couple of places I found where they play regularly haven't done anything for a number of weeks now. Oh well, I am reading up on the rules and will participate as soon as I get a chance and then come bak and tell you about it.

Almondcookie,

Could you please tell me where they play, as I would like to know and get involved when they start up again. It sounds like a fantastic game. Thanks.

I have sent the information to you via PM. There are groups in downtown Toronto, Richmond Hill, North York, and Oakville. The Toronto one is always full as it is small so I didn't include it.

Please come back and tell us how it goes.
