| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 12:26:47 PM | | I wanted to know how the women will feel if they meet a guy for the first time at a diner/cafe'/ resturant....you talk for a while and you two really hit it off, then after 40 or 50 minutes you two get up to leave and you notice he has a...ERECTION!...you can see he's trying to manuever himself in a way to hide it and even put his hand in front of it but you can still see that "somethings" going on down there.....how would you feel? | |

| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 12:31:51 PM | As a guy thats been in that situation (the conversation was extremely suggestive) I'd also be interested in the answer.
For you ladies that don't fully understand the male anatomy its much more of a mental than physical reaction, and its not something that neccessarily obeys our brain("Down boy, down!").

| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 12:38:45 PM | Somehow I think it would be wrong to say " It's no big deal" | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 12:39:03 PM | I would be completely flattered..... just as I hope he would be should he take notice of the flush to my skin, how my pupils are dilated and how erect my nipples had become.... *sigh*.... oh, to have a dinner with someone that does that to me...... | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 12:39:33 PM | Providence has played an evil trick on man...
'Only enough blood to use one head at a time'
That's why we seem to always be in trouble... he-he-he...
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 12:40:51 PM | Its a natural function of the male body when its aroused, hope there's no women that will bash a guy for it as its out of his control. Not like there's a light switch to turn it off >.> | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 12:56:53 PM | I would be flattered....I agree. He was obviously into her!! And thats ultimately our goal...isnt it??? | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 1:18:49 PM | Note to self...check out package before leaving first meeting.
Okay I have never look at the guys crotch to see. I'm always looking in their eyes, or at their smile, or face. I need to get with the program.
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 1:26:07 PM | | I would be estatic if his member was at "attention". That would mean I'm actually sexually attractive! LOL. And it would mean that he'd have no problem getting to that point with me...if something was to persue into a relationship! | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 1:35:13 PM | Flattered, and if I wasn't excited before that point, I would probably reciprocate....I am actually kind of glad we (women) don't have such a visually obvious physical reaction. I have actually been in the situation, we had to sit down and "cool down"....before attempting to leave. I even had to say things that would turn him off...it was actually quite fun for both of us...trying to find a way to ..uhm....put the monster back in the closet before walking out in public .
Men are so much fun. There is nothing like that intense physical attraction, it feels so amazing. Its afterwards we have to deal with....lol
Ciao,

| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 1:55:01 PM | | Well rjb888, even if he's "excited" it could be from many things, the erection is not a foolproof indicator that he's crazy about YOU, the waitress could be turning him on, or someone that he saw past by outside(if you two have a window seat)....or it could be something he's thinking about that doesn't include you......don't give up on looking at the smile and eyes...lolol | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 1:55:17 PM | | Honestly I cant say that I have ever noticed lol. I would be flattered though. | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 2:01:30 PM | haha women complain about not wanting men to say or show anything sexual too early and here they are all admitting they enjoy it very much on the first date.
Good post OP on bringing the little angels with tarnished wings out!
I love it! :) | |

| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 2:05:19 PM | How would I feel? With my hands!
Okay, seriously--I'd be flattered, happy, excited, perhaps all at once. And I'd probably be regretting a little that it was only a first meeting... Depending on how comfortable I was with the guy, I might also suggest that we wait a bit before leaving, if he'd rather.

| Too excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 2:07:54 PM | That's a hilarious story, and as a youthful man I can commiserate as I've had it happen on more than one occasion, though thus far none have ever noticed or let me know they've noticed...
When women as me why I don't own any pets, I wish I could say "I already have one pet that moves of his own accord, asks to be walked at inappropriate hours and refuses to come on command... Why on Earth would I want a second?"
Seriously though, the male reproductive organ is living proof that the universe has a sense of humour... I can't catch a nap on the bus without waking up with one, and I'm not even dreaming!
Oh well, better to have overly-functional equipment than non-functional I suppose...

| Too excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 2:33:42 PM | | Just let it go OP. I hope he calls you again. I also hope that the 2 pf you see where this goes. Sounds like it went well if you talked for that long. | |
|
| Too excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 2:53:42 PM | | lol..Nah i'm a dude, i'm just asking because i came real close to that happening once with a woman i was on a date with but thankfully she went to the bathroom right before we left gave me a chance to "simmer down"...lol | |

| Too excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 3:00:29 PM | | OP, I think that's sweet, the hiding it part that is... I know it's a biological reaction, and as long as he's not rudely shoving it at me or expecting me to do something with it right away, it's just flattering! | |
|
| Too excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 3:02:26 PM | LOL,That's why sometimes I'm glad I'm female ...we can hide that stuff , there's no guessing rather he likes you or not! hahah I thought when reading the topic it may be something else like being to giggity or shaky LMAO ... | |
|
| To excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 3:05:48 PM | i would feel so good that he has an erection for me, its not commom that men have erections all the time. so i would feel proud and know he really liked me. | |
|
| Too excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 3:15:17 PM | Im just wondering ... to the woman who said theyd be happy/flattered etc etc..... Would you still feel that way if you were not physically attracted to him?..... or he appeared sorta sleazy?...... im just wondering if its 1 rule for all scenerios.. or only particular scenarios? to the op.... I used to..... if my ex had that situation.. just start talking about his mother.. he would loose his erection really fast...lol smiles/peace | |
|
| Too excited to meet you Posted: 3/17/2008 3:24:26 PM | Soulmate08, the scenario given in the original post is that the two have spent the better part of an hour hitting it off and enjoying each other's company.
But to answer your question: No, of course it's not a one-size-fits-all (so to speak) response...
