These popular devices are available in both manual and battery-operated models
They are available in available in so many styles.
They come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colour too.
Some are made of hard plastic, some of soft plastic, some a combination of both.
Some sport ribs (for grip. . . I think) and some sport little rubber ‘nubbins’ for better action.
Some have interchangeable heads.
The heads can move in different patterns too.
What kind you prefer, manual or battery-operated, and why?
I put Crest toothpaste on mine, which is a manual model. Why, because I like to have control of the speed and rhythm.

| Manual or battery-operated? What works best? Posted: 3/19/2008 8:02:53 PM | Manual 'cause it gives me more control of the speed & rhythm. Battery-operated models numb the nerve endings & one can easily grow dependant on & addicted to the high vibration .....
then when you go the manual route, it just ends up taking much longer & you have to work sooo much harder .....
just to get those darn teeth clean.

| Manual or battery-operated? What works best? Posted: 3/30/2008 9:30:23 PM | You talking about screwdrivers? cos I would like a battery powered one, but I only own regular screwdrivers. I have used a power drill to do the screwing it works great. I would like a cordless drill though. They offer a forward and reverse feature on the drills.

ohhhhhhh toothbrushes...well I'm too cheap...bought a Braun for the Ex... bought battery powered for the kids...anything that would make them brush. For me?...well I go with the old and true method when it comes to screwdrivers and toothbrushes.

Funny, it takes the same amount of time to do the deed with one or the other. I like to think that the battery model would give me more satisfaction but I need to pay more attention to prove this theory.

| Manual or battery-operated? What works best? Posted: 8/7/2008 2:35:21 PM | Depends, battery operated if it needs to be more travel friendly (ie fit in purse) and depending on where such a model is to be used. In the comforts of my home a plug in works great and is more economical. Again for economical purposes a walk down the pharmacy isles at crappymart usually finds a decent model (disclaimer: for external use only, not so great for those hard to reach areas). What is it we were talking about again???? Oh ya tooth brushes. As I mentioned in a previous thread the battery operated ones are good for multi purpose use, makes everything all shiney and bright. Hey, gotta save a buck somewhere. | |
