As the sun rose on a new life, something wasn't right. Something small, but still yet...there. I think something is wrong....said to a dr. You may be looking for things that aren't wrong said the dr. to me. Watching, waiting, new dr.s, testing, new dr.s, something not balancing out...time pouring through my fingers like a glass of pure venetian water soaking into the ground...no longer available to make up for, lost. Very high intelligence, can't wait to do iq testing...no end to what can be said the dr.
Hello, mom? This is the principal. We...had problems in his kindergarten class, can you pick him up again? Thank you. Heart shattering as patience regenerates for the next battle...deeply in love with the person he is.

there is never a wrong or right child
they just are
seeping into our souls from the start
we sense that which can not be said
memories from our mother might speak
or perhaps we are all witches
or at the very least we are gypsys
loving the music in them
wild and the free

Jujubee I agree. Children are what they are. I believe nowdays too many interfere , wonder what we would have been back then? lol Too many people in on the personality of a child. Let them be what they are, sometimes it passes. I know mine did.

My kid's gonna be 8 pretty soon
his mom's got him stuffed in a magnate art school
there is a waiting list to get in
but, he doesn't give a shyt
he's a kid
not a prophet
she started talking about giving him medication
I said "sorry, they don't make one for genetics, darlin"
and that's all that was said upon that
then I went over and kicked him square in the ass
the grades went up without any pills
I don't have medicare to foot the bills
but, I've got a size ten triple E
I think that they should get rid of school nurses and cops and bring back spanking
know what I mean?
fvcking politicians and shrinks...
I told my kids that they could just stay home today
being Good Friday
I don't know if it's just florida or a national thing
but, they had school in our politically correct state of hipocracy
in the neighboring county 200 teachers and bus drivers called to take the day off
...cough..cough..
they opened the schools at 6am and closed them at 6 at night
because, 1/2 the kids didn't have a bus to ride
to get to a school that won't be having classes
try rounding up a hundred or so substitute teachers
..I gave the kids their choice
upon separation of state and church they boldly voiced:
I want to stay home and be home schooled
color some easter eggs that are really cool
eat some frozen pizza and a spoon of peanut butter
to hell with mother

Mine is almost 6, this was sent home when he was 4 and 1/2 . . .
Mr and Mrs . . .
I am writing to inform you of . . .'s behavior lately. His behavior has gotten worse. He is constantly in motion and making noises. He makes growling noises while I am trying to teach . . .
Um, yeah Mr was overseas and apart from Mrs for along time. The seperation was hard on him. I made it home just in time for this meeting, not much to say except I'm glad he made it through and is out of that class.
He graduated today to his next belt.

what is it about teachers and psychologists and crap these days?
Think that kids are in need of drugs?
Shit, we try to keep from the shit
They just wanna hook em up on some crap!
Let kids be kids...hell they did nothin' wrong
Just the same things we all did,
yet back then was nothing!
Kids will be kids
hell adults will be adults
Can't tell ya how many times some ***hole
M.D. tried to give me drugs!
I say...no Thank ya!
I shall deal , as I do!
I don't need your nine yards of crap...
and then after the fact find out the shit
destroys your kidneys
or gives ya a stroke!
Hell no...Doctor Pissoff!
I am all Good!

Your child is ADD
actually both are just like me
I turned out ok
no drugs I wasn’t labeled in those days
multi tasking was a blast
the brain races on many tasks
creativity they want to mask
plying pills to fit them in
rows of conformists with silly grins
maybe a doctor they won’t be
but artists, musicians, writers
in them that’s what I see
maybe a ordinary job is the sacrifice
does that make life a uneven roll of the dice
what would the world be without them in it
stress filled robots societies relics
the pills went the way of the toilet bowl
never numbing their childhood soul
they are turning out just fine
individuals leaving their mark in time
both artistically and musically inclined
what ever path they take
will be from the choices they alone make
looking back I'm glad I stood my ground
they are now dancing in tune to their own sounds

'Status Quo tests'

Edison disciplined harsh to succomb
Einstein theories made 'intelligent' numb
Drug 'em up in chains unseen for better
Hamster wheels laboured stupified fetter

Intelligence quotients judged by whom?
Genetics nurtured in Mother's womb!
Drugged those wee Ones to status quo
Ignorant self seeking strike a blow.

Fight for those wee ones with insight
Encourage them thoughts of bright
Thomas Edison thought half wit
To 'status quo' be coal oil lamp lit.

Wee ones think to encourage much
Nurtured by the Mother's touch
Drug them not in free expression
Theirs will be ultimate succession.

Beyond the grips of motorcycle flee
Grasping misunderstood to be free
Understanding expressions of thought
Encouraged to, not against fought.

The ignorant cloak themselves in fear
False authority held pompous dear
Drugged perceived foe to complacent
False content self perceived effort spent.

He's done so well for soooo long. His dr recommended getting him a nintendo ds(dl-whatever the hayel?) & it has been terrific for his concentration. We got to 905 tonight & he melted. He screamed, he came unglued, bit me on the left arm, & yeah...it's sore. He's asleep now. God, I love those boys.

Normalcy is allowing him to be just him, love him, cherish him most of all let him grow at his own pace.
Labels are just labels, names are just names
Growth is something each of has at our own discretion
so slim the line between normal and Brillient
Keep Your love alive! You need them as much as they need you :)

Normalcy= Normal in steps CY!
