Posted: 3/24/2008 2:35:11 PM | I met a man on here, read his profile, it was shocking, loved everything I read, I have been dating him for 1 week however we saw eachother 2x already. the 1st date and 2nd date. He live 1 hr away from me, however he said on his profile that he would do anything for the woman that he will love. the 1st nite we met he was so interested in me and told me hes falling for me and also said when he goes home that nite he would delete his profile here. I was flattered, yesterday i spoke to him and he told me he was gonna come on here to check his messages, i was shocked!!!. Than he told me he replied to some of the ladies as friends, which i can accept that. He also said that sometimes ppl appear online when really they are not. He told me on the 1st date that he admired me, liked everything about me and asked me to be his girl. I answered yes cause i also was falling for him, loved everything about him so far, we talk every day on the phone, we get along so well. Now i think hes playing games. im not sure. please help, I dont know what to do.

Becareful of what you say when first meeting guys. even if you are falling.. you need to make sure he is gen.
That dose take time ,some guys will also tell you what you want to hear. Please be careful a heart is a very fragile thing.

My guy said all the right things and it has been 4 weeks and I just found he is active on not only this site but 2 others as well. I confronted him and he said its no big deal--just looking for friends--doesn't fly with me so I dumped him. Another thing you have to consider is if he uses the forums here. If he keeps his profile up , but hides it and changes his status then it would not bother me at all if someone i was seeing were to come here for the forums.Anyway it's only been one week and two dates so it's not like this is a real relationship yet. I also see you've only been on here a very short time. Let me tell you something, if he shows as online...he's online, and if these "friends" he's just staying in touch with are just friends, don't you think he would have their MSN address?

I'm sorry, but this is the biggest crock of s**t I've ever heard. What are you, 12?
Any guy who says this after only two dates is either 1.) desperate and needy or 2.) probably only telling you what he thinks you want to hear. Either way, this is a HUGE red flag/warning sign. I'd be wary of any man who says something like that after so short an acquaintance.
If any guy said this to me after only knowing him for a week, I wouldn't be flattered. I'd be RUNNING.
