I'm looking for feedback on my profile and photos. I'm just not sure what to write. I wanted to express my funloving, optimistic ways and I hope that shines through.

Not bad at all in my humble opinion. Your opening paragraph is fine and tells quite a bit about you. I'd leave out the last line about being "assertive". What does that say to a man about you? Its ok to be "assertive", but I think actions speak louder than words. That is something you may want to express more in kinder way and perhaps when you are actually with the man.
( So guys, that's me in a nutshell. Toss me a "line" or not but HAPPY FISHING to you ... ) This is totally unnecessary. It makes you appear to be "indifferent". Guys are somewhat like women in the respect that they need to know a woman is serious, and not the "oh well, I am happy being alone"
( P.S.S. What the F*&^ is up with guys saying "they're clean??!! I find this f'n hilarious!!! Why do you feel this has to be stated ??? I operate on the assumption that you at least wash yourself everyday . . . if us girls are lucky maybe even you brush your teeth! OH. MY. GAWD !!!! HILARIOUS!!! Dudes . . . do yourself a favor and please delete this phrase from your profile. Sorry but I just had to comment. ) Again, totally unnecessary and very demeaning to men that don't say silly stupid things like that. Do you actually get these kinds of responses? How many would you honestly say you get? Lady. . . do yourself a favor and please delete this phrase from your profile.
Other than that...you look like a charming young woman. Come and say hello next time you are ever in NYC! | |

Thank you so much for your comments. They were very useful and I edited my profile accordingly. I especially thank you for the PSS comments. I would never want to demean anyone and although the comment was sort of made tongue-in-cheek I can see how it wouldn't have been taken that way.
