women like security, stability...and to be treated like queens. money's usually the common denominator to showing you're capable of those.
don't be dismayed, there are some of us out there that don't need the wine and dine treatment. heck, I'll take a day on the beach vs. a night out anytime. | |

I think that most in here are married and home alone, bored to death and just want something to do so they play with people but its to bad of how many feelings get hurt over this....I know i am very real, and i dont even have a problem proving such to someone i have an intrest in. When someone is real and attractive it is bad because then every one looks at you and auto judge comes on and they think shes to pretty to be here so she must be a fake. Thats not true, has anyone stopped to think that pretty ladies and handsome men are human and want someone just like you do? All i can say is dont judge by past bad experiences, not all people are fake and give them a break or chance.. Not all women need a sugar daddy, like the other lady said, i make my own living, pay my way and take care of me and that is by choice..It is nice to be treated nice and taken out but we all are not wanting in your pocket guys.... | |

I would like to find someone that is just as independent as I am and doesn't "need" me but yet WANTS to be with me and enjoys spending time with me. I LOVE staying home and grilling out, finding things to do around here. It is nice every once in a while to go out and spend a little money. The man doesn't have to pay all of the time though. I am more than willing to pay when I can.  | |

Posted: 7/18/2006 7:21:13 AM | Again, I get a different take on the same old whine. It sounds to me like someone is looking for a no frills, no strings relationship. You can find that anywhere. It has a few names "casual" sex, FWB or "hook ups."
You don't have to spend a lot of money to get to know someone for a "real" relationship. However, I doubt that very many "real" decent women would be willing to meet a man unless it was in public the first few times. It doesn't mean you have to take her to the most expensive restaurant in town, you could meet for coffee or is a cup of Joe too much to "put out for?" Most of my best meeting memories were just talking for hours over coffee, playing scrabble in a park or walking around a mall, holding hands and buying NOTHING!
Sorry, if I sound a little sick and tired of these men that cry about spending money when in most cases they think nothing of dropping $50 on a keg for their buddies or a $100 in a strip club.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure a person out. I've made alot of friends here. One woman even fed me for a weekend and gave me a place to stay. If you don't ask much, they won't ask much either. Best to ask for friendship and see what happens from there. | |

You just want to find someone that cares for being a friend and getting to know you better. Someone that you can do things with. Mabye instead of taking them out to dinner on the first meet, you should meet for a drink or coffee, that way you can sum up what type of person this individual is. Its hard talking on here or the phone to get to know someone. Yeah it seems like some people are only interested in money, well it doesn't always bring you happiness.
I met this guy on here that is a true sweetheart. We talked on her first and then on the phone. I thought well he is going to be like all the other guys. But to my surprise he wasn't jumping me the first time I saw him, it make me feel good and get to feel like I really could get to know this person and want too. Someone showing that they care and are interested in you is so much more important than money. So if it money they seem to be after tell them to go to the ATM!
Hope things get better for you, you guys have issues with women, just like us women have with men. Too bad it couldn't be easier it sure make things alot more fun. | |

If u cant afford to date............then dont. period. not all dates have to break the bank either. go to the park for a long walk & talk or go out for coffee or lunch. if the woman u tend to choose focus on money~~then she is not for u, so move on. this happens to women as well. it happened to me. xbf went out w/ me for 5 mos. & did not pay for a thing~~he ended up stealing from me & is in jail now. luckily, i was reimbursed by Dell for all his purchases & they prosecuted. that taught me a big lesson~~i dont pay for a guy anymore!!!! if he cant afford to pay for a donut & coffee for me~~drop him or he will suck the money out of u. the end. | |
