Could fish only apply for the speed dating if they are serious about it as limited places only and remember to message myself (scrummy65) if you would like to take part. Anyway, good to see you joined up Jules, should be a good night. The reason for the age limit was mainly for the speed date, basically so that the people who want to take part are roughly the same age as each other. The other reason is because as it's a mini meet (don't want a repeat of the Maltman overcrowding situation) we thought it would reduce numbers slightly. The age group isn't set in stone however and if people who are 30 and over want to sign up they won't be turned away.

I mean, shouldn't it be 20 plaices for the speed dating and a whale, for the Killer Whale Pool Tournament, is actually a mammal and not a fish, maybe it could be the Killer Haddock Pool Tournament!!! I stretch them, you know!! I am sorry to carp on but I won't be knocked of my perch on this one. I am looking forward to this night, it will suit those of us who are a bit hard of herring!!
Most fish are shiny and I for one fit the bill on every scale.

The speed date is just a wee bit of fun thrown into a mini meet to get people chatting to each other, and although it will be organised along the same lines of a real speed date, it's not, and I certainly don't think you'll find MR or MISS RIGHT at it, but you'll never know if you don't give it a try!    | |
