Some people get excited too easily Katrina....patience my girl, Friday is only 2 days away
Then we have Kimbo....she's got the dress already lol what can I say....I guess everyone is looking forward to the Summer Ball then?

I shall advertise it on my profile.... and in the event of this happening will we be refunded the ticket costs??? doubt the shop will take my dress back.
Ive added a little bit to my profile ( doing my bit) so hopefully more will sign up..suggest we all do a bit of advertising and sweet talking folk into signing up as I'm not planning to wear my dress to asda!

| ADVERTISE THE BALL ON YOUR PROFILE Posted: 4/10/2008 4:25:39 PM | I'm sure all the tickets will go, there's a lot going on just now with all the meets so i'm sure people will sign up if they don't spend too many pennies over the next couple of week. Of course, if for any reason the ball couldn't go ahead due to poor ticket sales everyone would be refunded. | |

| ADVERTISE THE BALL ON YOUR PROFILE Posted: 4/11/2008 1:18:15 AM | Good point Linda. Just want to add that although it says FORMAL DRESS that doesn't mean people have to rush out and buy something that they are probably never gonna wear again. I'm sure we all have something in our wardrobes that we've perhaps worn to a wedding and it's never seen the light of day again, even just a nice wee strappy number from Asda will do the trick, can tart it up with accessories and as Linda said, get hair put up and bobs your uncle, you'll look fantastico. The same for guys....just a plain old shirt and tie will do, no need to go rushing out to hire a tux or a kilt.
People can just go into Madness to buy their tickets, purchasing over the phone with a card is the easier option but you can do it in person next time you are in town or even next Friday night!

| ADVERTISE THE BALL ON YOUR PROFILE Posted: 4/11/2008 2:48:27 AM | Well said Linda, it doesnt have to be expensive.I have treated myself with my dress after robbing the local bank (keep that quiet tho as I dropped an earring at the crime scene) but as you say people can get looking in their wardrobes and just tart something old up and I don't mean Russell (only joking hunny)
Where is the lovely Russell, working on his next outift?
P.s getting our tickets this afternoon.... woohoooo

| The Entire Members of Motherwell Fc will be invited as well by me Posted: 4/11/2008 3:30:03 AM | Hi Folks,
Madness will of course sell tickets by cash in person..........................
Linda you are spot on......regarding expense of outfit..when we say formal this dress code should be treated as if you were invited to a posh wedding....so most people can pull something out of the wardrobe.ie smart suit or nice summer dress........
