Posted: 4/8/2008 3:41:27 PM | Hey everyone! I just got out of a 5 year relationship about 7 months ago, trying to get back out there and meet people. I'd appreciate any tips on my profile etc! I'm a little worried about how to present myself and it'd be great to hear from old hands at this

Picture is good, but there is only one. 5-6 would be better.
Interests are too few, although I like the "pretending to work" one.
Text is too short, and doesn't cover a lot of your personality traits or what you are looking for - especially important for Long Term. Same goes for first date section - it is short and to the point, but it should be less short.
In other words, just have more of what you have, and then ask for a re-review. | |

The pic of you in close proximity with a pretty girl is not just a no-no, it's a HELL no-no! I don't care if she's your friend, your neighbor, or your great-aunt Sally, we are not going to dig having to compete with another female for your attention. And you guys look pretty cosy in the TWO PICS YOU HAVE POSTED WITH HER.
Hmph.
Anyway, your brief "about me" is pretty short on any actual personal info about you, considering you're looking to make a long-term connection. All I got is what you do for a living, that you play tennis and softball, and..oh, err...something else.
Consider expanding more upon WHO YOU ARE, and not just things you like to do. Same goes with the woman/women you'd like to meet. What sort of person is she?

- profile picture of you with the hat on , to me didn't really suit you or work
- intersts are too short and could be expanded into more details
