| CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GLASGOW 25th MAY 2008 Posted: 4/9/2008 3:54:44 PM | Kids are very welcome and it'll be a child friendly day, although i'm sure after the wee ones go home we can get down to the serious drinking and even head to Madness after the Counting House! that's for those who aren't working on the Monday of course | |

| CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GLASGOW 25th MAY 2008 Posted: 4/13/2008 2:48:37 AM | | Hi guys love what you are doing with all the meets, been to 2 so far and they have been fab nights out. However, do you really think advertising the fact you are going to be taking children along to a meet on the net !!!!!! leaves them open to all sorts.. Just my opinion, I know many of you guys get on fabulously and trust each other but I would be concerned about the not so trustworthy that now know about the meet and dont necessarily sign up for it!!! Kids are way to precious to take the risk. | |

| CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GLASGOW 25th MAY 2008 Posted: 4/13/2008 6:14:43 AM | That is a good point you raised Sindrz, and of course so very true in this day and age. I also don't particularly agree with people having young children on their profile pics either as there are so many weird people out there. However if children are coming along to this meet they will be with their parents, who I would hope wouldn't let them out of their sight for a minute, and at the end of the day, you can't let paedophiles stop you from enjoying a day out with your child, whether you are at a PoF meet or just on the sightseeing tour and then in the pub for dinner regardless of PoF. One of the reasons I wanted to make this a child friendly day is that there are so many people on here who can't get to meets because of child care etc, and this is a good opportunity for those people to be able to come along and meet other fish in the same boat as themselves. | |

| CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GLASGOW 25th MAY 2008 Posted: 4/14/2008 9:09:46 AM | I also agree about not having kids pics on profiles..hense why I don't even mention mine, but this is a child friendly meet ..which I think is a good thing. Also not like anyone would put their kids in any danger.Thats like saying taking your kids anywhere where theres gonna be adults is a danger.Like any responsible parent, your kids would not be out your sight. There have been clubs around for years i.e Gingerbread groups etc who have organised family days out..just because its being organised through an online site doesnt make it anymore dangerous. Ok gonna end my rant there ! | |

| CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GLASGOW 25th MAY 2008 Posted: 4/14/2008 2:23:28 PM | Well said Kimbo! So, this is going to be a child friendly day, bring 2 if you can just in case they run out on the menu
This may be a day out in Glasgow (and i'm sure we've seen all the sights before) but not many can say they've seen them from the Big Red Bus so come along and have a fun filled day, finishing up with a bite to eat and a wee drink in the Counting House, very reasonably priced!

I don't see your name on the 1st May mini meet (even changed the age setting just for you lol) (lolly, you can still have the arms of a big hunk even if the weather is nice)

| CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GLASGOW 25th MAY 2008 Posted: 4/27/2008 4:09:06 PM | If you can't make this one keep watching the forums for the big summer picnic....date still to be confirmed but it'll be in the summer (obviously) children and pets welcome (unless the pet's a giraffe) with optional visits to various attractions around the location of the picnic (without giving too much away on the location at the moment) it'll be a good one though, of that you can be sure | |

|
| CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GLASGOW 25th MAY 2008 Posted: 5/9/2008 5:34:51 PM | It would be cool if this were an all day meet like whoever wanted to go on the bus with there kids as well as a meet later on, it as an all day food and drink pub so why not say " make an appeareance, fish will still be there" ! Fishes are fun friends and will try to make an appearance never missed one yet! Oh YeaH Alan | |

It is an all day meet Alan, there are already people coming to the counting house who aren't coming on the tour. The fish will still be in da house at night for anyone else who wants to come along later!
