The Texas Musicians Hall of Fame Induction Gala was held last weekend and it was a fun event. I was dissapointed that most of the celebrity musicians didn't show up; course some had a good reason - they've died. Not to say they weren't there - just that I didn't see them. Steven Fromholz is a fabulous entertainer and the whole reason I attended the event... I really didn't expect Willie to show. The Inductees were Willie Nelson, Steve Fromholz, Buddy Holly, Hank Thompson (Brazos Valley Boys), Janis Joplin, and Smokey Montgomery (Light Crust Doughboys). Guess who showed up?????? How Sad that these fine people were honored into the First Annual TMHofF and only ONE showed up. Does this sort of thing put you off a celebrity? I like celebrities who are humble, no high horse under them, and nose facing forward rather than above their head.
