It runs okay at times but I think I may be misfiring a little.

Some new point(ers)s and plugs would be good.

Adjust my timing if necessary.

Just not running as smooth as I would like.

Thanks for your help.

(Sorry, just couldn't say I needed a lube job.)

I think it's a great profile.

The only tweeks I think it could use, is more pictures and I would remove the reference to your next child would be a serial killer because of karma.

1) You need more pics. The one you have features a strange triangular UFO obscuring some of your face, and it appears a yeti is crouching in front of you.

2) Take out the entire paragraph about what you dislike. Although you meant it to be funny, it just doesn't come across that way.

3) I agree, the whole "I might have kids if Sandra Bullock came along" paragraph doesn't fly, nor does the speculation about your next (step)kid being a serial killer. So take that bit out.

4) Like to see a bit less about you and your specific likes, and a bit more about who you'd like to meet.

5) Most chicks like cats. In fact. we love 'em. That's why they're the most popular pet in America today. The ones that don't activley love cats are usually against animal cruelty. That's why your first date idea of "drowning cats" is very unfunny.

Thanks for the advice. Made some changes. (I'll just have to keep the cat drowning our little secret.)

More pics are coming - cameras - yes plural - keep breaking.

well it seems pretty good

- about me is a little long , might want to shorten it a touch and remove unnecasary parts

- interests are ok but could be expanded on

- profile pic doesn't really do justice to your profile which is really good , might want to find a better one

OP, while it's OK to mention that cats are deal-breakers, I didn't find the reference to cat drowning funny either. And it won't be a secret. Even though you've removed it, the commentary surrounding it will be attached to your profile for infinity plus one (or at least until you make another 25 posts that kick it out of your history).

I’m a fan of the drowning cats as a first date. Made me laugh, I’m seriously considering stealing it. Good profile over all, but agree with muskokaguy32’s suggestions. Shirley wit also had me in stitches. I like this thread.

Covenant... I am in a fairly similar stage of my life these days. Changing my life pattern, examination of what works and what doesn't. Midlife crisis? Maybe... But, I think I know the place you are in.

So, here are my suggestions.

1) Photo is still the problem - what Ms Jest mentioned. And there is only one. Photo of the dog doesn't really count, especially since she is not with you anymore.
2) Didn't really care for "My cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar are all excellent. I have had 3 grandparents live past 85, 2 live past 92." Seems a little too "I am trying to prove this". I would make it more of a "I am in good health, and it is getting better. Looking forward to outliving my grandparents who lived past 92". How did you get 5 grandparents anyway?
3) I did not like "Things I do not like" paragraph. It is all negative. Especially cats. Womenfolk love cats.
4) Some negativity in Kids paragraph. Expressing that you love your daughter is good. But, I don't think a lot of women our age are starting a family. Heck, several women of our age that I talked to are grandmothers, or looking forward to being one. I would just put with standard, but likely a lot more inviting sentiment that you would be accept her children into your life
5) I think Silence of the Lambs joke strikes a wrong note. A little too jarring in a profile that is not overall going for being funny.
6) Would change last sentence to be more of "goals in life" approach.

bump

Glutton for punishment.

Some of you guys are a lot meaner than this. Let it out. Don't hold back. Your mama is ugly.

By the way, I love cats.

Okay I'm kinda new to profile reviewing being a "new guy" but, wow.
1.It's way to long I think
2.Are you trying to come across as a serial killer type yourself...because it's working. Nothing personal I had to wonder to myself how many bodies you had buried under your house. I mean if you do let us know, I'm sure there is a substantial reward and some of use could use the money.
3.I don't think the cholesterol and (full medical history ) is needed
4.I really don't know too many people who are going to look at someone's profile and wonder "Gosh I hope his grandparents are still alive!" BTW- I am surprised you didn't make a joke about trying to eat them...the silence of the lambs refrence was creepy...maybe you should use the headline "It puts the lotion in the basket, or it get's the hose again"

Hope I wasn't too harsh....please don't kill me, I don't taste very good
