Posted: 4/12/2008 1:29:34 PM | ~Well, I love tats and piercings on my men. Women are beautiful when they have them too. Personally I don't care to get one right now. I will stick to my peircings.
~But can a guy or girl be ever too much tatted or peirced? personally I think full back and arms are hawt..face/head tats arent my thing but meh It all depends on the person right? and when girls get their lower back done..meh SO many chicks have that..nothing special. I like foot tats thoes are nice.
~Memorial tats are my fav, you know ones with meaning and are to show that a loved one will be with you forever...etc... how about everyone else?
~And piercings...I love them cant wait to get more...I have 9...my right tragus, navel, left side of nose, ear lobes 2x(both sides) and Cartilage(both sides). getting my left tragus in a few weeks and my tounge in a year.
~Peircings on men WOW love them...on their ears, eyebrow, tounge, nips and lip. w/e so hot. lol | |

Piercings ...... s'okay - different strokes for different folks. I'm too old for piercings other than my ears now anyway ....... I can't imagine a nipple piercing - that metal sound scrapping on the cement when I walk ....... lol
But tat's - absolutely. I think people need to be free to express themselves, be it thru body art of some sort or whatever floats their boat. I don't judge people by their piercings or tattoo's - luv the artwork and the creativity ..... !
Well, of course unless it says somethng like "death to all" or "hi Hitler" ...... not so keen on the personality that would ink that on their body.

Tats and peircings are totally just beautiful. and yes I woudlnt not want my nips done either...ill leave my areas and my nips alone lol.(i just like it on guys:P ;) lol( but you do anyways need to think about the long run when you get tats or peircings b/c they wont always look so great when your older. I personally don't like the look of them and they really gross me out especially if they are facial piercings. I won't write someone off as a friend because of them, but date someone with them? Heck no. Tattoos are ok as long as they are tasteful and don't cover the entire body. A few small ones as far as I'm concerned is ok but getting the whole back, arms or face done doesn't appeal to me at all or look good. I guess I'm old fashioned by today's standards but if I look at someone's body I want to see their body, not their impression of art. | |

Posted: 4/12/2008 5:55:33 PM | I have 6 tattoos...all have meaning and all were very carefully thought out. I have been going to the same artist for close to 20 years now, for me it's a matter of trust. If you're going to let someone put a permanent mark on you, you should not only trust them, but also trust in thier skills as an artist.
As for piercings, I prefer the subtle look. I wear a wee tiny nose stud, my ears are double pierced and I have an idustrial piercing in one ear. I also wear a tiny eyebrow ring which is hardly noticeable behind my glasses.
I think both tattoos and peircings can be very tasteful and sexy as hell. | |

Yet i chuckle at how people are going to react to kids when they ask questions like "hey granny you gots a tramp stamp?" "grampa why did gramma get a stud in her toungue?" And when they learn the true reasons boy will their respect for their elders skyrocket.

~ I have a few issues with branding/scaring..fist Chicks usually only dig scars when there is a story behind it. Like they were in an accident or w/e then thats cool.some chicks dont like scars either way.
~I don't like the idea of someone branding or scaring their skin. B/c a lot of people out there have scars on their chest or back or w/e b/c they've been in accidents or have had to have operations(ex. heart) in order to be here today. and most of thoes ppl don't like their scars. and for a person who was lucky to not have to go through thoes hardship, and go to a tat/peircing shop and get that shit done its like, I dunno just doesnt sound right to me. and scars are not even accepted these days im pretty sure if someone had a huge scars or their tummy or w/e and walked around showing it off, ppl would stare and not in a good kinda way. But Then agian when ppl get branded/scared its usually a "cool" design or w/e. Why is it that thoes scars are accepted and not others?...but yeah so i don't know. I sure as hell don't look down on ppl who do branding/scaring...but i don't really get it lol. and if ts b/c they like the pain then w/e i dunno. but I guess the same could be said for thoes who get peircings and/or tats right? | |

Posted: 4/14/2008 11:18:48 AM | My friend has a brand on her shoulder. It's ok. She's getting a coloured tattoo around it and it's turning out quite nice.
As for whether dude has them or not... Makes no difference really. I've dated guys with them and never really paid them any mind.
When I see a girl with tattoo's I applaud her for her own self expression, but think it's tacky to see them on her arms. Nothing worse than being a bride/bridesmaid in a summer wedding and a chick has her skull tattoo on her arm.
If I were to get one, it would be between my shoulder blades, my ankle or my foot.
Peircings are fine if they suit your face. I've seen people with them and it doesn't seem to suit them. Too many lip peircings are gross on guys or girls. And the stretched out earlobes are kinda gross. Takes all the fun out of nibbling on someone's earlobe. LOL | |
