Has not gone to college or lived on her own yet. Now as much as I think that 17 is on the cusp of legality...it is still very much illeale. ( at least in america) If she was 21 and you were 28 I would say no prob. If you were 3 years younger and she was 14...Oh Hell no. If you touch her it is illegal. She can't give consent, the law doesn't allow it. So just remember if sparks start to fly...cool it.
And no, it's not that big of an age difference once she's legal. There are much bigger differences between people who date, IME. However, you are at a different stage in your life, so I guess it just depends on how compatible your maturity levels are.

Although the gap in age is large because she is so young, the same age gap later on in life won't matter half as much. 17 year olds are young, young, young, and geesh, still in high school. | |
