| Would *you* nominate a bachelor? Posted: 4/13/2008 5:33:15 PM | A local TV station is running a 'contest' to find what they're calling "the top bachelor in the area".
No, I'm not trolling for someone to nominate me: I've had my fifteen minutes of fame already and am sure I'm not what they're looking for. There appears to be no prize other than publicity, either for the four semi-finalists or for whoever gets picked as numero uno. It's a tie-in with the last weeks of the infamous TV show to build a larger audience for the station's news shows in the relevant demographic. The only requirement is local residence, age (18+), and "the bachelor has to approve of his nomination and be willing to do on-camera interviews".
The question is: would you nominate someone for this? Why or why not?

No. If my bachelor friend was "all that".............I would want him for myself.

Would *you* nominate a bachelor? The question is: would you nominate someone for this? Why or why not? Im not in your area...but...umm...nup. Cant think of one.
I did however have a common law who was one of Cleos most eligible bachelors.
"American Idol" but even that I cannot even bear to watch until they are in the last 12 or so contestants.

I.e., he may be off limits, or maybe he's "good on paper" but there's just no real chemistry there. Or maybe he doesn't know you exist, and this would be an "in" for you to get his attention and let him know you think he's tops (while secretly hoping he'd decline). Or...

Evidently his surgeon gf, which he had never mentioned at all after 3 months of working with him, would stab him. So, I guess he couldn't be a viable contender. But he surely would have been a good candidate. Very handsome, kind, smart and easy going.

And it disgusts me how the girls on the current Bachelor are behaving, giving all women a bad name. No I don't watch it, just see the commercials and it is disgraceful.
Whatever happened to having even a modest amount of morals and self worth?

I wouldn't do that to my friends unless they really wanted it.
