Posted: 5/31/2005 1:24:43 PM | I'm not exactly defending it (and I've never sent anything like that), but honestly you can't blame someone for being direct in their intentions, especially if you're on a dating/matchmaking site. At least you know his intentions. Just delete it and move on.
Now if your profile specifically said "don't be lewd unless I say it's ok", then sure, the email's author is a jerk.
That email is probably the online-equivalent to a more tame pickup line in a bar... the net makes people behave more boldly than they would in person. | |

There's no doubting the immaturity and disrepect in that email...I sincerely hope that was written by a highschool student or someone with a plate in their head (no offense to those with plates in their heads). I can honestly say I would never approach someone in that manner. That being said, I have read a lot of posts/threads about the "initial contact" and most ladies state that you have to be witty and creative to catch their attention. Well, I believe I possess those qualities in some capacity but I gotta be honest...do you know how difficult it is to come up with something creative when all you have to work with is a couple of facial pics, some irrelevant hobbies, and a brief description on how you would spend your first date...most of the content is repetitive from person to person anyway. I'm not really sure what I'm saying here...I guess my message to the ladies out there is to not be so judgemental when you receive correspondence thast basically says, "I think we might get along, check out my profile if you have the chance, feel free to drop me a line if you're interested in chatting...if not, no worries, have a great week". I've actually been ripped apart for emails like that.
Anyway, I'm not trying to deflect from your point...it's obviously valid...I can't believe someone actually wrote that. As a matter of fact, I would like to apologize on behalf of all MEN out there for those comments...and I plead with you to not judge us by our worse specimen(s).
PS...whoever sent Free that email...you're an ass!

RULE ONE:
1. Read her profile before you sent a message. If there is anything on her profile that might lead you to think that she is naughty, then go to rule two. Otherwise just say hello and tell her something nice.
RULE TWO:
2. Tell her something naughty that you would love to do...maybe with her, maybe thinking about her...If she does not reply, wait a few days and try again...maybe she trashed it by mistake.
RULE THREE:
3. DO NOT get angry and try to send her a message that is rude or nasty just to get a reply. That is just stupid, she will get you banned and worst of all I will delete YOUR profile and send you packing.
any more you guys want to add, funny or serious???
