Posted: 4/16/2008 8:22:10 PM | I've used it in the past and it seemed to work. I've heard a lot and studied a fair amount about it but I wonder what others experince with this is?
I used it in the past with oregon grape root tincture among other things, to get ride of giardia and it has seemed to help with other problems as well.
I have questions about the home made stuff vs. the stuff you get in health food stores. My understanding is that one made through simple electrolysis (the home made stuff) is not a real colloid but is an ionic suspension. Even so what I find on the net says the ionic brew is even better? | |

Posted: 4/17/2008 9:19:20 AM | I have used the kind from health food stores. It works very well for many kinds of infections but must be at LEAST 15 parts per million to be effective.
I buy some that is 30 ppm from Whole Foods Market. It will usually get you over a cold or flu in 24 hours, ( if taken at onset, and in about 4 times the recommended dose) but will not cure everything. (Tried it once for pertussis, and it didn't help.)
Collidial Silver is actually an old medicine that was recommended by doctors before the drug company racket that we are in now.
It is definately worth a try before you have to see a doc and take anit-biotics. | |

Posted: 4/18/2008 6:16:22 AM | Yes but if you know how he turned blue and he had been making his own silver drink for over 13yrs and thats how long it took and he was drinks like 2-3 glasses a day from what i can remember. yout not meant to be drinking that much and if you do it for 13yrs everyday like him then you will turn blue of course and its seemed to happen from being exposed to sun.
Trust me you will get the hint of blue from over usage of this drink. like anything you over do...negative side effects come with it... | |

Posted: 4/18/2008 2:08:07 PM | One thing I'd mention, some manufacturers are using silver in bandaids to help stop infection, so silver is not just used in the realm of what some, but not me, would classify as "fringe alternative medicine".
I use a brand of ionic silver called silver 100. You can get it in a spray bottle or a bottle with a dropper in it. Seems to work pretty well. I read its not to be exposed to sunlight or it can lessen the effectiveness of it over time, don't know if thats true or not but I don't want to risk it and find out the hard way because the stuff is kind of expensive.
There are other things one can use to fight infection if you are so afraid of turning blue(silver 100 claims if you use it as directed, your skin will not turn blue and the guy that was on t.v. who had blue skin made his own colloidal silver and may have been making concentrations that were too strong, or particle sizes that were too big or both and used it very heavily for years both internally and externally), such as olive leaf extract(the brand I use has 20% of the active ingredient and is much more effective than one I used that had only 12% active ingredient)and a supplement called Super ViraGon which is effective against not only viruses but bacteria too.
Someone here on the forum awhile back said something to the effect that using silver supplements internally caused increased need for selenium for glutathione production. How much, I don't know. | |

However that used by the hospital is a higher grade -- do not use the kind you make or buy in your eyes.
I have also made a cure for toenail fungus including it: (Topical application ONLY)
1 part DSMO
3 parts Teatree Oil
4 parts colliodal silver
Killed the fungus entirely after 2 applications.
As the previous poster mentioned, the Silver will NOT turn you blue unless you OD on the stuff for quite some time.
If you only use it when needed and at a reasonable amount, you will not turn blue. | |

My ex has started making colloidal silver, and has been giving it to my 8 yera old daughter. I know he believes it to be beneficial, and have looked it up on the net.
There seems to be a lot of conflicting views.
What i would like to know is where can I find scientific evidence, (experiments over a long period of time to compare use with placebo). Either to support the use, or prove it is harmful.
I know there are a few who have turned blue, but apparently they were using the stuff by the gallon regularly.
Any help appreciated. | |

Regarding the blue man, there has in fact been 11 reported cases over many years. In these cases they were taking CS by the bucket load, particles were too large since they were not following the Bob Beck guidelines, and they used tap water instead of distilled. Out of hundreds of thousands of people who use it with favourable results it's still a small number.
Personally now, I have known a woman who had cancer in 5 places, given months to live and sent home to get her house in order. She then started using CS and the magnetic pulser. 1 month later went to the cancer clinic for her pre-cat scan check-up. This is just last week. She has been told not to come for the cat=scan, to come back in 3 months instead. The doctor was amazed at her progress and told her to continue the CS. Another doctor from the area has just bought 3 CS units to make his own, and use them on friends and relatives.
My neice was told following 3 days of vommiting and diahorrea she had swine flu, called into the docs through a side entrance. She was given Tamiflu. My ex told her not to take it, but try the CS. Within 10 minutes the pain was away. Half hour later she was eating a bacon roll. Totally fine within a day. | |

Posted: 8/15/2009 7:50:12 PM | I can't see why anybody would want to take this, silver is toxic to humans, even as a colloid. Silver and other "dark ages" medicines were eventually replaced by anti-biotics.
The body has no nutritional requirement for silver and more worryingly no way to get rid of it. Therefore it ends up in the skin gradually altering the victims pigmentation.
Do not fall victim to marketing ploys, your body has an immune system that is more than capable of destroying bacteria, in the event that it isn't or you'd like to speed up the recovery of an illness take anti-biotics.
Scints, are you aware this product has a government health warning and a world health organisation warning attached to it. I'm pretty certain feeding it to a child in the UK would raise eyebrows.

One of those people is a politician in the states. He still takes it, believes in it's healing properties and admits he had been taking too much of it in the beginning.
As for marketing ploys, it really is so cheap to make yourself. Not a lot of money to be made there.
It has not been endorsed by the government and WHO because that would take away a huge amount of the profits their related pharma companies make on treating people with their own products.
Ironically the WHO has endorsed such things as aspartame which we know to be harmful, and is now persuading us to take the swine flu vaccine (not natural in our bodies like their anti-biotics) and we also know this to be harmful particularly in light of their last swine flu vaccine in 76 and similar warnings with this one.

Riiiiight. It's all about the money which is why you can get colloidal silver for free. Because it would be horrible for a company which spends millions of dollars researching a drug using PROVEN scientific methods to not be compensated for their work.
Oh wait, you have to BUY the stuff from people who aren't licensed, who have no studies to prove one way or the other whether their products work and whose products, when tested, vary so much in concentration that one never knows how much colloidal silver they're actually ingesting.
Colloidal silver works as well as magnetic bracelets do curing arthritis or Scientology's regime of vitamins did curing Travolta's kid.

Again, it's repetition of the fact that 11 people out of hundreds of thousands of successful users turned blue/grey and were not using the standardised way of making it. And that there were differing amounts in samples. These are reasons to follow the standards to make your own, or speak to someone who makes them personally to make sure they know how it is being made. Research, instead of being too trusting of how it is made.
And low and behold, the FDA are saying it shouldn't be used. As already said, they won't allow it be used because people will not be so ready to take their anti-biotics and treatments which will cost them dearly.
Instead, let's not give people a real picture or alternative. They will take what the doctors are given (and anyone who has looked into this will find that they have even bigger side-effects).
As for not helping people, try telling that to Ms. Love (the woman I know who I spoke about) who is quite happy to be alive today despite doctors giving her a few months to live. And many others who have given testimonial.

As to the person who gets his at 15 or more parts per million, trust me, excess amounts over the recomennded 3-5 parts per Mil do not help nor cure faster.

How It Works
The presence of colloidal silver near a virus, fungus, bacterium or any other single celled pathogen disables its oxygen metabolism enzyme, its chemical lung, so to say. Best water filter I ever had, was one with a silver disc, that was one fine filter.
I heard a guy on the radio, years ago, selling MSP (mild silver protein). The particles in colloidial silver are too big, the ones in MSP are bonded to a protein, making it MUCH smaller. Smaller is better. Anyone know where I can get MSP? | |
