Where:
Jim Prater Memorial Park
280 State Route H
Fillmore, Missouri
praterfamilymusicshow.com , for map and detailed directions
this is approximately 1 1/2 hrs north of KC and 2 hrs south of Omaha
Campground is located 8 miles north of Fillmore on H hwy
Watch for signs
When:
Friday May 30 through Sunday June 1,2008
Arrive anytime Friday after Noon
Leave Sunday by 1:00 pm
Cost:
The Camp owners are giving us a discount and pads will cost 15.00 per person per day, this will include electricity, shower facilities, restrooms, picnic area, dance pavillion with DJ friday and saturday nite.
If you decide you don't want to camp out with us the cost will be 10.00 dollars per day to viist the park.
Important Details
We will be having a pot luck dinner Saturday evening at 5pm
each person should bring a sidedish and their own meat for grilling. Grills and charcoal will be available.
this is also a BYOB event whatever you choose to drink, soda, beer, water, whatever
There will be a campfire Friday and Saturday night. If you play an insturment bring it along and jam around the campfire with us!
NEW: We will be serving breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning.

For the fisherpeople there are two ponds to fish. Stocked with catfish, bass and crappie.
BAD BOYS entertainment has been in the DJ business for over 20 years and as earned the reputation as one of the best in Northwest Missouri!!Tony operates 4 different units with all busy most every weekend!!Largest selection of Music overall making sure to please any age crowd!!Also all his units have Karoke built in so if someone wants to sing he is always ready to let them do just that.Come and hear the BAD BOYS they are sure to rock the campground!!!!!
Be sure to remember to bring a chair with you!
UPDATE: sorry for the oversight, but because there could be alcohol at this event you must be 21 to attend.

Posted: 4/19/2008 5:34:47 AM | The name of the DJ is called Bad Boys. A camping pad is mearly another term for camp site. It is where you have your electrical hookups and place to pitch your tent or park your RV. No a person don't have to have a camp pad. There are places there where you can pitch a tent that has no electricity yes.
Also for those that have one it is okay to bring a 4 wheeler or golf cart. | |

Posted: 4/20/2008 6:04:11 PM | the problem I am having with Spring Fling...is working around Father's Day ...Memorial Day ....etc. Memorial Day is the Monday before the weekend of the 30th...and Father's day is the weekend of June 15th.....I can certainly plan it and do it on the same weekend as this event...but I don't like stepping on toes of people who are planning other events.
Getting too far into the end of June...it's getting hot...and then we begin running into the 4th of july also!!! So...not sure what to do.
