I've started doing a family tree, was checking out his war medals last week,
( World War One ).
Can't even imagine being 15yrs old, and fighting in the trenches.
So many things i'd like to ask.
Why is it, we don't talk to people more when they are here.

Posted: 4/19/2008 5:25:26 AM | Ahh, i was thinking about this very subject just a few days ago.
I would go back in time to 27th February of this year, the 2nd anniversary of my mums passing and REALLY talk to my dad. I would ask him how he really felt properly and how he felt about life since my mum had gone, i would ask him, BEG him, to go to the hospital. He died 3 days later of a blot clot that entered his heart. It was so unexpected and i so wish i had cuddled him and told him just how much i loved him. I would beg him to stay for dinner and not rush off in the way he always used to. I would give him a really good dinner, a lovely roast, a nice pudding and kiss him as he left.
