It's Friday..a Happy May Day.. and the patios are open.. .. Time for the Toronto PoF to get together and have some fun!

What, you say?? Why be glum alone at home when you could be out with a whole bunch of singles mixing and mingling? Come on out and meet others in PoF (Plenty of Fish) and have some fun!! It's a rockin' good Friday with music specifically geared for a rockin' good night. We have live music with the band , 9 POINTS TO NOWHERE and also groovy sounds continue to spin with our very own hip cat DJ Phil!! The only "twang" you'll hear in a guitar string, is in the one that snaps as this band rocks the night away!!  And the Ladies love 'em!  
The ETON will be providing us with hot/cold appetizers as well as other cool accommodations. Just keep tracking this thread.
COOL!! HOW DO I GET THERE?
By TTC, just take the subway to Pape Station and walk a very short walk east along Danforth to the pub on the next corner. It's behind the subway station. If you're driving, there's ample parking at the Green P in the back of the Eton, and free street parking after 9pm.
Driving from most points west, north, east, just take the DVP south to the Don Mills south exit to O'Connor, take a left to Pape and then right, down to Danforth. Turn left and park it!
The Eton House is a large spacious room at ground level, with a dance floor, pool room, large bar and accessible washrooms.
They can only accept cash at this time, cuz aren't set up for credit cards or debit yet, but there's a bank at the corner of Pape and Danforth that has 24hr ATM.
The last four parties we had there were so much fun, that we gotta do this again...and again! This is our bi-weekly TGIF party for the Toronto PoF at the Eton House!! Got any more questions? Just email me, RoyalLady  , and I'll try to answer them as best as possible.

Alison I chose May 9th instead of the 2nd, cuz I see there's a Jays' home game on the 2nd of May .. just for you dear!!
What's the theme? flowery May Day.... dress in your spring colours! Wear Flowers! 
We're also getting together on May 23rd as well, and I'm thinking that's going to be OUR Jays party if'n ya like ... the boys will be back in town that night.... just so you know in advance.
Now let's talk about THIS May Day event.

Everyone, including shy peeps can have fun... the music is great and the food is good and the beer is cheap, play a game of pool ifn you don't want to dance, sit on the quaint patio and watch people on the Danforth pass by, the possibilities are endless, and yes, a special soemthing for the earlybirds that come before 8 will get something extra.. th earlybird gets the "worm" and not not gummies or live bait.. it's special.

The people emailing you sayinmg they'll be there are probably guys that don't sign up.. we get about 20 or so that don't sign up, they just show up!
Amy/Becky, y7ou and me both, when it comes to tired.. funny that we were both early risers that day and worked a loooooong day, but that didn't hinder the fab night we had. Glad you had fun, hun!
Now I was picking out some stuff today for our special "mayday game" and the lady's prize, however, it might be a seconder to what else might be instore for the night.
Now I say come early cuz there will be an early bird thingie.. we start at 7 and I know people have to come in from work, so as long as supplies last...
AlsoI'm going to stop giving out name tags by 10pm as I want to have fun too, and want to put all that stuff away! After all I have other stuff in mind for this special mayday extravaganza!!

I hope my knees recouperate from moving this piano today.. long story .. maybe I'll tell you about it next time I see you.... but now I need to take pics of it and sell it .. it's a gorgeous Yamaha and my son can't keep it and I've no room for it anymore... I've got alot of sentimental attachment to it so this isn't going to be easy to part with.
Needles to say, but I'm saying it anyway, I hope to be fully recouped so I can dance a bit on the 9th!
I'm saving the first dance for someone who might actually have this night off and join the fun for his first time!

You can bring a friend if you like, some of the shy ones do, but not the rule.. plenty of shy ones come alone as well, and they have a terrific time and end up coming back for more!
cory_bram_22, ditto! We all need a night out from time to time, so be good to yourself and treat yourself to a fun night of fun and frolick, mixing and mingling, it's going to be a MayDay night to remember! 
zero1984, bring your friends, bring yourself... you don't HAVE TO sign up, but it would be nice to see how the numbers are. Lots of peeps just show up at the last minute without signing up... but it gives you fishies a good idea of who's coming but always expect more! Your friends don't need to sign up.. just bring them!
