| Most original date you have been on?

I always think of really good ideas, Zoo's, walks etc, but I am never confident enough to carry out these plans. I always have visions of horrific rejection due to them thinking my idea is wierd or strange, despite knowing it would be a change to the usual cinema or dinner etc.
What do you think are good ideas, and what is the ebst one you have ever been on? | |

Posted: 4/20/2008 7:34:51 PM | Would go for a nice drink in a wee pub with a real roaring fire get to know each other better and then go for a drive until we reached the shores of Loch Lomond where several hours earlier i hid my guitar and supplies to make a small fire with some nice grub. Got the fire going then get the guitar out and start playing some of my fav songs as some of theirs.
Never done this but i would like to if i meet the right one and if it failed then she would not be the one for me.
Andy, as for taking her to a strip joint!! your either on a wind up or you still have to figure out why your still single which should not be hard to do. | |

Posted: 4/20/2008 9:07:54 PM | WeeeeeLLLL... Took a gal to the local Pick -a -Part salvage yard... As she wasnt wearing close toe shoes, they didnt allow her in.
Since we drove 45 miles to get there, she grasciously told me to go ahead and get what I needed and she would wait. Unfortunately, things didnt go as planned and it ended up taking me about and hour to pull the part I needed.
...Overall, She actually got a kick out of it... she'd never been taken to the junk yard on a Date before. | |

When i got inside 1 of her dogs got a bit over friendly so i slapped its nose so grumpyoldwoman hit me with a dog lead n fed my steak n chips the hounds n all i got was a bowl of winnalot prime n sent on me way never 2 be seen again. I never even got 2 the local dogging hot spot she promised 2 take me 2 n I felt really ruff the following day. | |

Last date I went on was a walk round Hollingworth lake...Stopped for fish and chips...and a beer in the pub...very enjoyable... | |

We sat on two upturned pails and ate sardine and tomatoe paste sandwiches and drank dandilion and burdock pop while watching the world go by.
I allso took two nets and went wading for plentyoffish!

He had planned the route, and the picnic site. When we reached the river bank, he waded in to get the bottle of champagne he had hidden earlier to chill.

Posted: 5/4/2008 10:39:57 AM | The funniest for me was when l dated a toy boy, not only was he younger by some years but when he turned up at my friends door, he was like a toy. I am 5.6 but he was about 4.10 tall. He never once mentioned that. My mate instantly told me to "get rid" but being the polite lady l am, l invited him in. We all later went to a pub in a taxi and l told all the girls in the loos to talk to him, he was my little brother, looking for a date. When l noticed that he was happily chatting to some of the ladies from the loo, my mate and l ran out the pub and got into another taxi and went clubbing.
Happily dancing away to the beat, feeling free for the first time that night, my mates face suddenly changed. He was stood behind me !! I looked surprised and said "Oh Hello!" to which he replied, "l finally got here, had to get a taxi, long way isnt it, would you like a drink" I'd forgotten that l'd told the girls in the loos what club we were going to.
HOW THICK WAS THAT BLOKES SKIN !! Needless to say, l never saw him again lol | |

Posted: 5/4/2008 11:59:47 AM | Bearing in mind this was the middle of December ......
I drove down to meet a guy in Bristol and we literally had nothing planned but were gonna spend the day together. He's into Parkour (aka free running) and we sat in Castle Park for about 3 hours whilst his other parkour buddies trained around us!
It was sooooooo bizarre but great fun! Then we went and had chips and gravy in walkabout :O)
Definitely my most memorable! | |

Posted: 5/4/2008 12:02:21 PM | My most memorable date was with my now ex!, our first date we went to see a load of Puppies as she was looking to buy a collie! it was really fun day out we bought a puppy and then went for a long stroll down a lovely beach in South Wales under the sunset was kind of romantic awww ,,, then she cheated on me 3 months later  | |

Posted: 7/3/2008 8:29:04 AM | Not sure if original but very memorable. I dated this squaddie called Steve, who l thought was really nice, but then l was only young and very niave. We had a few drinks, like you do, had quite an enjoyable evening. We hadnt held hands or kissed, but l wasnt too bothered.
In the car on the way home, l was bursting for a wee, so asked him to stop in a lay by so l could relieve myself. I didnt want to squat right next to the car, even though it was late at night and dark, so l walked towards some bushes. Low and behold, l fell into a ditch, but the ditch was a sewage ditch. I forgot about needing a wee and called for help. Steve got out the car and gave me his hand to pull me back out of the ditch. I got back into his car and l stunk of sh*t, it was half way up my trousers lol, very romantic. I really thought that he would zoom off and get me home quickly.
Guess what, lol. He pulled my head down towards his parts and asked me to give him a BJ !!! l was so shocked as to what he wanted me to do, l demanded he took me home. Cheesed off, he drove me home, needless to say l never saw him again !
Years later,, l began a job working for the MOD and was working together with this nice lady called Carol. We got on well and she asked me what l was doing at dinner time, so l said that l didnt really know. She invited me to spend the dinner hour with her and her husband who would be waiting outside in the car park,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
YES, Guess who,,,,,pmsl STEVIE BABY !!
She introduced us to each other and we sort of said hello, the dinner hour was brilliant. Inside l was laughing the whole hour, but Steve definately wasnt lol
But l can guess what sort of girl Carol was on her first dates.......... Stevie baby, you got a BJ in the end then lol | |
