Nicest & Worse thing you ever did
Posted: 4/21/2008 3:50:54 AM
A friend asked me the other day what the nicest thing I ever did for someone was.....

Ive spent loads of money on people who needed it, given a listening ear, driven for miles in the snow, put others before myself, given food to starving people, put a roof over peoples head and rescued animals.

But what sprung to mind was when my sister had her first baby, I went to the hospital and took Chocolates, strawberries, body shop smellies and a few girlie mags! Not a romper suit in sight! It meant so much to her that someome had thought about what she would like, I hadnt realised it would mean so much to her both then and now.

The worse thing...........
16 and snogging my sisters boyfriend, (long time ago, oh the shame she still uses it against me !!!)

Cant wait to hear yours.......

Why?...Because it may ruin your chances of meeting someone if you do?
That states you are dishonest and therefore ruins chances anyway.

Everyone is different I know but I am brutally honest, I feel that if I am not then i'm only lying to myself. I have no secrets and I have no shame, I have no regrets (only lessons learned)...If people want to judge me on that it makes me smile, I smile because I know that i'm the better person.

I do more nice things than bad, if I feel guilt I know i'm not living my life to the best of my ability.

I'm always giving away food, music and artwork...and there doesnt need to be a special occaision...and I don't give to recieve.

Couldn't possibly answer the first part of the question, would be for others to say.

Worstest: Sending in my sisters Rocket made from loo rolls, a bleach bottle, crepe paper and milk bottle tops to Blue Peter and claiming it was mine. I still have the Badge to this very day.

Msg 5 - I don't agree that it's dishonest not to post, I wouldn't put up anything so personal on a public forum either, not being dishonest I just don't wish to share with the whole world that's all, possibly the same as the poster.

I have secrets, shame and regrets I'm afraid

Not so immodest as to blow my own trumpet about anything nice I may have done..
Far more forthcoming on the worst thing....

I cooked a meal for my partner's parents... Dropped the roast chicken and roast potatoes all over the kitchen floor... Just cleaned them all up zinged them in the microwave to degerm them and served them up .. LOL .. Ooops ...

That and the time I sent my little brother a valentine's card, still feel a bit rotten about that one actually ...

Oh and the time I found my friends gerbil had escaped, picked it up and it dropped the end of its tail.. left holding a wriggly bit whilst gerbil went back in it's tank ... I just dropped the tail in there too.. Blamed it on the other gerbil... I was only 5 at the time..

Think I better stop now ...

Worst thing...scans through memory possibly pushing Stephen Kirkham's head through the school railings, in my defence he had kicked my younger sister deliberately and the stitiches in her leg came undone lots of blood so instead of fainting I turned my attention to him.

Nicest thing I've ever done would probably be saving a 4 year old from drowning

Worst thing, sleeping with my ex's two best friends (on seperate occassions), was worth it at the time im sure!

Nicest thing - I was 12 years old and using my first age knowlage I saved a man who had been stabbed in the artery, I was so young yet instead of just calling 999 i did what i had to do, i still remember it .

Worst thing - Last year I dated a married man and fell for him, I didn't know he was married but I still feel terrible.

nicest thing - I used to live in the countryside and came across a guy who had been run over. So, I called the emergency services and stayed with him and comforted him until they got there.

worst thing - I came across a guy who had been run over nicked his mobile phone and the contents of his wallet.

The nicest is the various charity work i have done, but its so rewarding, i gave my time christmas day 07 to serve dinner to men staying with the salvation army.

The worst, eventually getting the strength to turn my back on my son (20) when his lifestyle turned for the worse with some unsavoury characters full of drugs! i tried everything to help, in the end turning my back on him SORTED his head out.

i ve done loads of nice things for loads of ppl,i did voluntary work with home start for 6 years,i helped my sister with her son while she trained to be a midwife,i was always babysitting friends kids and still do,i drive my mates places they only have to ask,one of my mates was giving her sister a kidney, well just before the operation she fell out with her and most of the family took the other sisters side,so i was there for my mate i made her a pamper bag and got her loads of mags for her to read in hospital, she didn't get any big thanks so wen a chance of a free 2 wks holiday abroad came up for her i helped her bfriend out with the kids while he worked sometimes 14 hours a day.

the worst would have to be sleeping with a mates bfriend 11 years ago i still feel guilty now when i think about it.

i do something nice every day.

I don't think it for me to say what the nicest thing is that i've done.....I'd feel a bit big headed and up myself .

Worst thing is definately a warning of never to send photos to someone, no matter how much they beg.
