UPDATE! Spaces are booked up. There are First Come First Serve spaces, but you need to contact the park EARLY to see what's available.
WHEN: Friday through Sunday, May 16-May 18
Park hours are 8:00 a.m. to sundown.
Check IN time is 3:00 p.m. -- Check OUT time for camping is 1:00 p.m.
Quiet time is 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

WHO: EVERYONE! 
Even if you are not going to canoe/kayaking - Come on out and Camp for the weekend!
COST: $20.00 a night OR Share a Campsite and everyone split the costs.
You can only put two tents per site, with a total of 8 people per site and no more then two vehicles per site. RV's are allowed.
There is additional parking in a designated area which is close to the campsites for overflow parking.
Each site has its own water and electric hook up. The sites are large and will easily accomodate two vehicles and two large tents. The sites are also nicely shaded and close to the restrooms and hot showers.
ACTIVITES PLANNED:
Friday -  "5pm to 8pm" Pot Luck Get the Party Started Dinner - Located at Host Site #38
Saturday - Canoe/kayak and Picnic Sat, May 17 - Hosted by Dixie1069 and CBC2007
- "5 to 8 pm" Pot Luck Dinner - Located at Host Site #38
Sunday - "10 am" Pot Luck Sunday Morning Breakfast - Located at Host Site #38
Pancakes and coffee will be prepared by Perfectredsky and MarieRuby.
There are hiking trails, bicyclying trails, nature trails, a playground, fishing, wildlife and bird viewing, snorkling, canoeing, kayaking, also a nature center (open on Saturday and Sunday from noon -3pm), and a Ranger Program on Saturday at 10am.
Horseshoes are also set up for anyone interested in playing!
Don't forget to bring your own wood for your campfire. There is no cutting of trees in the Park.
Food needs to be kept in tight containers and put away when not at your campsite because of wildlife.
POT LUCK MEALS:
Please bring a dish of something you would like share to each meal. Suggestions: different types of salads, meats to bbq up, fruit dishes, veggie dishes.
Alcohol:
Alcoholic beverages are allowed at your campsite. Please be responsible.
MUSICIANS:
If you play an instrument - please bring to share your talent with your friends!
INFORMATION ON THE PARK:
If you have made reservations or sharing and you plan to arrrive after sundown on Friday or Saturday, call the park (or the person whose name the site is reserved in) before 5:00 p.m. for the gate combination.

If you would like to email -perfectredsky2008 - your campsite number and what you are bringing to any of the Pot Lucks you are attending (if you know) it would be a great help for MarieRuby and I to know who/where you are at. Also, if you have any extra tent space or RV/vehicle parking for any fellow POF's that need a place to share, we could help put people in contact with each other, if need be.

If anyone is hesitating because they don't have a tent or sleeping or camping gear, I just want to share and let you know, don't be a hesitating. GIVE A HOLLA !!!!! These are a wonderful group of kind hearted giving people, who have offered me tents, a site to share , sleeping bag and companionship for the week-end. It doesn't get better then this. I will keep you posted once I have heard back from these two campers and decided where I will be staying.   | |

I would appreciate if anyone who is willing to share their site and costs of course, would email me and let me know so I can help coordinate getting everyone a place to camp and hang out. Also, if it is for just one night or both nights and if you are tenting it or rving it.

I just made reservations for camp site # 17. Could only get it for the 16th but at least I will be there for the canoe/kyaking. This will be a lot of fun. Sir Heart and I will be sharing the tentsite but are willing to share if someone can't get a camp site.
Not sure what we will be bringing for the pot luck but will let you know later on.
I have a 4 person tent.

I will compile the list of the foods for each potluck the closer we get to the event weekend for all to see, this way who ever doesn't know what to bring will have an easier time deceiding.
It is shaping up to be a great weekend for all to be had!

I invite others to join me on the weekend. Share my space or put up another tent, if you snore loud. I don't snore loud I am told. HeHe
This is going to be a fun event.
