Your profile comes across as so negative and unfriendly, I am sure that is making the ladies run the other way, so stop that crazy talk!
You are an attractive fellow and I am sure you have more than a few things going for you, so why don't' you share that with us? Do take out ALL the negative comments, delete the photos of the cars (those photos aren't necessary, they are dating you not the cars) and add a photo or two of you with a smile - hey what could it hurt? I did detect a bit of humor, that self deprecating humor can be quite funny if done in moderation, so go with that. Break up your text block too, it makes it so much easier for one to read.
Oh yes, open up the age range of who can contact you, geeeeesh, what if that perfect gal is just one year older or younger - what a shame that would be to miss an opportunity?
I don't share this secret with everyone , but you look like someone I can trust, so use it wisely; read some of the other POFs profiles, pick out some you really like and follow their lead and by all means Mr Man, take a look at

Your profile is not a place to rant on about things that you DON'T like! How fun is a person like that going to be? Have you ever sat next to someone who incessantly b!tched and complained about everything they hated? That's what reading your profile was like. I couldn't get away fast enough. Here's my favorite line of your profile as it is right now:
Well lets say you meet that perfect 10, is it worth it if there rotten to the core on the inside and is nothing but a pig with a one track mind.
Classic. Listen, what your profile is *FOR*, is giving people an introduction to you. If you're a negative Donnie Downer of a person who sees everything through turd-colored glasses, then by all means, leave your profile as is.
If you're just a misguided soul who doesn't realize he's portraying himself as a big drag online, well then, you've gotten enough feedback here for you to reconsider.
Also, pics of cars without people in them are boring. In fact, they're not even allowed by this site and should never have been approved as "okay." Right, so YOU like cars, so what? How does this tell us anything about you except that you're a guy who, when asked to post pics of himself, posts random pics of inanimate objects?
Lose 'em. Scrap what you have and start over again by reading the "Profile Writing Tips" thread at the top of this forum. | |

You have a pic of you smiling as your main! That in itself is a major improvement. Slowly replace all the glowering ones of you with smiling pics. Leave the one in the suit, though, you look good in that even if you are frowning.
Now, look. You still have the "rotten to the core" comment in, and that list of things you DON'T want. Just try taking them out *altogether*. Same with the whole "dust in the wind" essay. It's online, these things happen. You just got to let them go.
So, ditch everything from the words "DO NOT EMAIL ME IF" to the end.
Edit: Actually, in retrospect, take out everything after, "Guess that's about it." Let that be *it* about you, right there.

I would add spaces to each sentance it will boost your profile by 50% instantly and remove what you are not looking for, as you can work out what you do not like yourself. It just makes you sound like a moaner and had issues from previous experience with women.

Posted: 5/2/2008 2:39:45 PM | I'm kinda disappointed, or this guy is really lucky, that this profile has been revamped and improved 90% by some readers estimations. I think it's got a long way to come still, baby.
OP, while you've scaled back the negative intonation a fair bit for the first few should-be paragraphs it's light and interesting and portraying you as a fun guy. Then you go off on a bit of a tangent and get hostile and tell people to virtually to fcuk themselves if they any combination of the lengthy list applies to them. THEN you tell what I thought was a poem or lyrics to the 70’s ballad of similar title but turned out to be a rant about how sh!tty online dating is and those who engage in it. You sounds VERY bitter with that whole paragraph/story. THEN (seeing a theme here yet?) you make yourself sound even more bitter and hostile by b!tching about the hordes of shallow people who only look at the exterior and forget about the little guy.
Did I mention you said you were an honest guy about four times? There’s a fair bit of redundancy and rhetoric in your profile that you may want to tone down or replace with something that might help your cause. It’s kind of like telling people you like to laugh. =)
Your age range caps off fairly quickly after your age, but then I guess if you wanted to date those 25 and under that’d be your prerogative too. Just remember you’ll eliminate much of who you might be looking for if that’s the case.
The First Date is a nice attempt but maybe look at extending it a bit. And take the advice of someone else and put everything into proper paragraphs with spaces between each. It is VERY difficult to read in it’s current state.
Is that a real cat or a stuffed animal? It looks like something from one of those creepy Treehouse shows for toddlers but the eyes and fur actually look real! I’d lose that shot; it gave me the heeby jeebies. Your pictures are all really good, albeit a little posed, if it weren’t for the seemingly hateful scowl on your face in all but the one shot where you look like you are mocking someone you are about to beat down! LOL Okay, that’s just me being overcritical now! I’m not actually serious there. But I am serious about scrapping all these pictures and starting fresh. Not so posed. Not so studio. Nice yard by the way!
