| Is The Zyrtec Girl Ugly Or Is It Just Me?
Posted: 4/23/2008 12:58:12 AM | The new slew of Zyrtec commercials are on all the time and has that girl doing them. Is it just me or is she not very attractive. Her jawline and mouth look masculine like a man's, her nose looks like it has a witches wart on it and her hair looks stringy. Does anyone find her attractive? Do you think they picked an ugly girl to make their product standout and possibly have people talk about it?
The Axe commercials on the other hand I'm sure sell a lot of product and rightly so. | |

My mother bought them for me because they were on sale; maybe she's trying to get me laid... lol! I know when I was a kid, I went for so long without a girlfriend that my family thought I was gay... maybe she's worried, lol, or maybe she just thought I smelled funny... hmmmmm........ :( Either way, I bet she's trying to get me laid... its in my best interests; but not in my future... lol. I was born under the star-sign "hopeless".
It actually is the best deodorant I've ever used. (I use the stick deodorant, not the spray; ick)
The body-wash smells nice, and doesn't last too long or overwhelm the senses. So it's just right in my book.
I mostly zone-out when commercials come on... so I'm having trouble remembering what commercial it is exactly.
If the Zyrtec commercial is the allergy commercial with the chick who ends up "half inside" and "half outside" and there's a small dog (jack russel?) in the commercial... then yes, I've seen the commercial. I don't think she's unattractive, but she's not exactly gorgeous... she's just an average chick.

Posted: 4/23/2008 12:56:34 PM | To me the most annoying peson on a commercial is in the peadiasure ( I think) commercial where the little girl sits in the cart as mom pick out stuff announcing she doesn't like each item " i don't like broccoli" and " I don't like chicken". When mom puts the pediasure in the cart the little girl gives the mom a smug, self satisfied smirk that makes me want just annoys the heck out of me.
This perfect little princess is a perfect example of some of the kids today. Other kids are starving in many places, including America and this lil witch will only drink these milkshake type drinks. I taught a child just like this. Ate age 3 they would only drink pediasure from a bottle while being held. Oh, and he'd eat the icing off cupcakes. And had to be held or would cry relentlessly.
Sorry for the rant but thatcommercial really bugs me.
I also don't like the blonde lady in the "Listen Up" commercial. Her voice is so irritating and mean. I can't imagine her hubby buying the device to hear THAT louder. The you see her using it to hear the neighbor's conversation across the street. All in all it's an amusing commercial for me?

I work in marketing for a large natl corp and have seen many companies that use irritating and ugly things just to get your attention. It gets you talking.
There are many in the media who feel any exposure at all is good for the company and they just want that branding and name recognition.
I don't buy into that myself.
We have a local cabinet company that does a commercial that is so stupid and irritating that I will actually change the channel the second it comes on and would not take their stinking cabinets if they gave them to me for free. Others have said the same to me after seeing their commercials.

Kind of immature to post an entire thread calling someone, whom you've never met and probably never will meet, ugly. So I guess you have never talked about or thought about anyone you have seen on TV, C'mon get real! She just bothers me for some reason because the whole commercial she is just sitting there talking and they show closeups of her face so some casting person must have thought she was pretty. SEX SELLS and I see a lot of women with negative comments maybe it's the jealousy thing. There are a lot of commercials I do watch just to see a beautiful woman.
