Posted: 6/1/2005 10:12:15 AM | and he is absolutely the most wonderful, attentative, funny, caring and attractive man I have met in a LONG TIME. We have SO MUCH in common...he is EASILY someone I could fall in love with...G-d has answered my prayers in a very profound way
I have only been on this site for a few days, and honestly did not expect to find anyone. My ex is someone I met on another website, and it did not work out. I was skeptical about something happening by way of the net again.
It goes to show that you can never know when that perfect person will come along. Shame on me for my lack of faith!

I guess when you meet the right person you just know right away. She is a blessing and we're so right for each other. We got married on May 21 in Vegas and couldn't be happier! | |

I think the most important thing about dating on the web, is to be HONEST!!! Nothing worse than talking to some one for a week, then finding out that the pictures they sent you are 5 yrs old ect. The nice thing about dating on the web, is that you can get to know the person a little bit before even meeting them, and I find it much easier, because you know for sure that the people you contact are single.I have also seen though, on her, and my girlfriend will tell me this, as she still leaves her profile up, there are a lot of guys on here that all they think about is sex, they can become real pigs.but 90% of them do treat her well or are at least honest. I think it is much easier for the women on here to find a man, than it is for a man to find a women, the girls must just love it!!!
Anyways, just really wanted to say that yes Inet dating works, and more and more people are turning to it to find their soulmate. Dont give up people!!! There is always someone for everyone!!! | |

Posted: 6/27/2005 10:54:32 PM | Yes, the 'net can work wonders, but you still get out of it what you put into it...and sometimes enough of the real person shines through the written words to where you know that if the sparks are flying in person then the connection will be awesome. It happened to me in less than a week on this site, after a year on other sites.
She's the One for whom my whole life has been dress-rehearsal.
She gets it; life, love, fun....and she gets me from the inside.
She inspires me to step outside of myself; to go above & beyond, as well as reach deep within.
Without Her, life would not be as vibrant.

i have been on a couple of casual dates with people from here... and although they have been nice, im still searching for that special person..
but i just wanted to say, plentyoffish is a really great service, and thanks to them i have made a few more close friends... and theres nothing wrong with increasing the size of your social circle!!!
so congrats to everyone who has managed to find their mr or mrs right... and to those of you still searching...dont give up!!! i havent!!!!

I met a guy on here and i went to hang out with him while he was working at some figure 8 races a couple hours south of where i live. we hit it off and by the next day we were apparently dating. I saw him a few days later while he was going from wisconsin back home (he travels a lot) that was last week and hmmmm.... now he doesn't even reply to me on this website.
I don't *think* i did anything wrong. my friends aren't happy about it... my roommate wants to set me up with her younger cousin (he's 20, i'm 21... it's like 5 months difference i think). | |

Most of the guys I've been involved with I met at the bowling alley (go figure...), but I have been set up on fairly sucessful blind dates before. I think I'd still be with the guy mom my set me up with if our work schedules didn't clash at the time we tried to start dating. I even met a guy once on another site, but he had issues with his ex at the time and said it would be a good idea if we didn't even meet at the time. I have nothing against that or even the other guy I talked about. If it doesn't work out, at least you tried. | |
