| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 8:55:55 AM | Read today where G-Dub urges calm because the stimulus will help offset the rising costs of gas and food.
Yeah, for about a week.
I already didn't have visions of an iPod dancing in my head thereby stimulating the economy. I had hoped from the beginning to stash some back for Christmas for the kids and to pay my taxes next year.
How're we coming on strengthening that dollar there G-Dub?

| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:01:01 AM | | yeah, a $600 check will help with my drive to my parents house. but not much. I am not too worried about gas prices though. I have invented a car that runs on negative thoughts. | |
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:03:29 AM | | Can you modify it to run on Obama hatred? Damn, some folks could get cross country and back on a quarter of a tank on that. That's okay, I could rocket to Mars on Clinton hatred. | |
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:17:00 AM | | I have a dvd player in the car. I put a michael moore movie in it and traveled back in time. | |
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:24:12 AM | | So what's a Flux Capacitor going for these days? | |
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:32:20 AM | | not sure doc, but iran provided the plutonium. | |
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:39:54 AM | | Well then, I would advise to stay out of mall parking lots for awhile. | |
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:43:31 AM |
Yeah, for about a week.
I wish I could even agree this far!
Its a freakin loan! He borr0wed money to give it to us and check out this major gas hike expeted to eek up on 5 bucks through the summer!
The price of oil goes up at virtually the same speed and rate inflation, does so with soon to be 100 bucks per tank of gas I wonder who people think will be making the money off of that?
Those who said the oil industry wins!
How much did your wages go up? Have your wages and cost of living raises double to match the doubling of all the prices such as gas and oil? Fvck no!
The way I see it this country needs another damn good depression as a wakeup call because it seems most thrive on being ignorant and it seems people only get smart through pain, and when it hurts enough just maybe people will actually join together and do something about it rather than arguing about bullshit all the time. Even then they wont know what to do will they?
Wait I know! Vote in a democrat!!! That will do it! They will save us from this evil neocon agenda just like clinton did from NAFTA!!!! .
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 10:00:20 AM | Yeah, Mike. My vote on the stimulus was for them to keep it and do something worthwhile with it for a change. Giving money back as a band-aid during record deficits just didn't seem to make sense to me.
I think we're all getting poorer every day, I'd like to know if my tax dollars can be put to use in such a way to fix the cause of the inflated costs of living and if so then accept my contribution.
As for your comment on the need for a new depression... I've always drawn the comparison that our generation is the first in this country that doesn't understand strife and sacrifice which I think has contributed to a fatal stagnation in holding government accountable.
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 10:52:09 AM | Such a sad shame that people bought houses and thought the govt was gonna save em ...
No depression here > except for the idiots that think Uncle Sam is a handout for their greed.
I will continue to be the Proud Armymom that i am. Knowing they go forward with many good things.
Many young people do not understand sacrifice. Sad shame it is.
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 11:24:48 AM | Back when I bought my house, it was well known by all that lying on a credit app was a federal crime.
So what's up with the "liars loans"? SOME of these people should be prosecuted -- not bailed out. That means loan officers, too, who encouraged people to lie.
The Ecconomic stimulus package is a joke -- that Bush (grudgingly, but weakly) went along with -- and Congress adored! The big bucks for the bail outs will have to be borrowed -- from China, no doubt.
A lot of pretty rich folks will be getting the largest "rebates" -- as much as $1800 -- as well as people who never paid a dime of taxes.
I'm saving mine. Just for spite!
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 2:31:23 PM | I just read that the checks are in the mail early what does Bush know or fear?????? I plan on using mine to either hoard gas($600) mite get me thru the summer, doubtful) or I heard land in China is cheap 3 gas stations in my area closed or at least stopped selling gas!!!!!!!!!!! in the last month | |
|
| Bush Calls It Posted: 4/25/2008 9:47:57 PM | . I think the biggest fear is hyperinflation. This economy is on a knifes edge.
Saddam had WMDs alright and so does chavez and iran.
They were able to get saddam when he threatened to sell his oil in euros but chavez is a little more difficult and the people of venezuela are also becoming america haters because they know it was our cia that threw him out of office to support the elites.
Iran is a bit of a problem because china likes Iran a lot. While China does not have the strength to go up against us this second they soon will as they are escalating military spending and naval forces. Meantime we have russia courting the arch enemy china, maybe we should be friends after all.
bushco stood up at a dinner and toasted and bragged about how he supports the elite and is proud of it.
We can always elect a democrat though to save from bush, just like clinton saved us from the first bush.
Rememeber? Bush started NAFTA, the democrats scorned him then clinton quietly signed it into law.
Dontcha love that awesome bipartison effort? I am sure the dems will save us now cuz it will be different this time.
Wont it? . | |
