Posted: 4/25/2008 11:07:55 AM | ok, girls, here's one for you. A friend of mine, who is a woman and I were talking and often we talk of hypothetical situations....heres one:
Lets say you are staying at a hotel, in, say Vegas. The hotel is close to another. You peer out the window and see folks across the way "going at it", lights on, curtains ajar.
What do you do, honestly?
1. Close your curtains and watch tv, because its none of your business.
2. Close your curtains, shut the lights off, and peer out your curtains and watch.
3. (this one in my best church-lady voice) Call hotel security and play stool pigeon...after all, who knows who could be watching?!

I don't see anything wrong with this... It's a wonderfull thing to see..
I'd probably be feeling sad for myself for not doing so at that right minute...
AS for their privacy... They can shut the lights off and close the curtains but till then...

Maybe if they were your hotel neighbors and the plaster is falling off your ceiling from their thrusting, but the hotels are not even connected, so in vegas, you've got no noise pollution....

I'm not closing MY curtains so they can have privacy. I'm in Vegas, my curtains will stay open. Don't peek in windows if you aren't prepared to see midget porn with watersports. You're allowed to peek in and say, "JTFC! Did you see that!? EEEW!" and then stop looking if you don't want to see it!
If I don't want to see them going at it, I don't watch it. When I'm walking to the bus stop from a bar I don't want to see guy urinating on the bricks, so I don't watch them. I don't walk down the street wearing blinders and plugging my ears!
If it is interesting(train wreck or artistic, either way) I'll watch and call my friends who live in vegas to high tail it over here... Maybe order some room service and invite anyone I've befriended on this trip to my side of the hotel.
I MIGHT make a score card if I can get my hands on any posterboard or butcher paper.
If it was specTACuar, I'll call their room afterwards, tell them they're fabulous and thank them for saving my 17.95 on the payperview... No point in disturbing them. | |

Sober and alone, I would choose most likely choose option 1. Drinking and/or in the company of others, I'd most likely go with option 2. Complete with play-by-play commentary. | |
