now i know some people are gonna flame me for this, but i LOVE to play tag.
there is a perfect place across from my place and night time is the best.
but i dont want to make this an actual event if there is no interest, c'mon kevlar, i know your reading this | |

All one has to do is engage anyone close to into conversation and exchanges of laughter and, in little time, one is surrounded with the most charming characters, "one" included.

Everyone thought it was a great idea....until it snowed and suddenly no one was interested, it's too cold, I don't have gloves, I don't want to get hurt, blah blah blah.
As a kid we played a game like this at night. Called it kick the bucket. Objective was to hide out somewhere in various backyards. Some people were hunters - they had to find you and convert you to a hunter. One person guarded the bucket (ice cream pail) which was placed in a front yard. The first person to get past all the hunters and guard and kick the pail won. The game went on for hours. | |

As for Kick the bucket ( we call it can) well when we went camping this weekend there was a great game of it going on! AWESOME! Never hurts to reclaim our inner child once in awhile and let it loose. If I am ever in Van when you all are playing I'll be there!!

we did this a few years back, i have 57 acres of old growth forest in South Surrey with very little underbrush, we went to the dollar store and got those little "bike" flashers for everyone, had a bonfire a few drinks a bite to eat and then when it was dark we played tag in the forest, The "it person" had a white led flashlight, your flasher had to be set to solid red and visible ( no hiding it in pockets, behind trees was okay) and when you got tagged you switched it to flash, so someone could come and "free" you.
we did lose a few couples for awhile.......................... but all came home laffing in the end.
Growing up leads to growing old and then to dieing, and dieing to me don't sound like all that much fun.....JCM | |
