Why don't you decide on a date and time and location...ie the Coral or even just a local pub and do a wing night...then write it up in a thread like this and talk to a moderator to have it put over into the events section. If you post it say two weeks in advance it gives people a chance to see the thread in their in box section and then sign up for it. People tend not to post here their interests, but will sign up for planned events much easier. The last event in kelowna at Scandia had over 30 people from the area sign up...
As many will say, if you plan and post, they will come..so go for it !

Will confirm if I'll be there for sure & if so, I'll expect a POF welcoming committee to pamper me while I'm there.

I got out to Kelowna for my training conference in May but there were evening socials planned & I didn't have a chance to hook up with any Poffers to check out the night life there. I've been invited back there by my g/f so next time I'll try to plan my trip around an event out there.  | |

How about --
--'The Castle' in Peachland?
--upstairs at the Kelowna Curling Club (where I have attended HUGE parties in the past!!)
--any of several restaurants downtown (the ones that aren't usually open in the evenings)
--any of several dozen wineries
--the 'El' (you'll understand soon as you get here)
--the new 'conference room' at the Capri (which used to be 'Tramps'---one of the most popular nightclubs in western Canada back in the day).
--for that matter, perhaps one of our local POFers has a large enough house...?
--Rutland Centennial Hall (again---some huge parties in years past)
Lord knows there are plenty around here ('large houses' I mean).
If any of these (and a few dozen others) pique your interest and once you get settled in Kelowna, perhaps you'd allow me to shuttle you around a bit??
No obligation, of course. Happy to do it...
Kinda like 'two birds, one stone' (so to speak).
