Posted: 4/28/2008 8:26:30 PM | OMG, there is actually a group of extreme Ladder Day Saints building a white limestone compound near a small town in Texas. They believe the Lord will return one day and destroy everything and everyone , except for the chosen people. Which of course would be themselves. If I lived in that small Texas town, I'd start sleeping with one eye open.
Perhaps, the polygamist should try to get to know their neighbors. I wonder how that conversion would go? " Hi Bob, it's Paul the polygamist, what do you say we have a big ol' Sunday dinner. It will just be me and my five wife's... Have plenty of food at the table, because three of them ****es is pregnant. OK, see you soon, bye." I sure hope that little scenario turns out well, I guess one will have to wait and see. | |

And, they believe that us as the tax payer should pay for their chosen life style. There is no way this can turn out well. | |

Posted: 5/1/2008 8:23:14 AM | Actually, what you NEED to do is befriend them. Go to dinner. If they don't invite you, invite them. Go over with a basket of fruit, and welcome them into the community. If you don't, then they will be left to themselves, and in the next 10 years, lots of 50-year-old men will marry 15-year-old girls and get them pregnant, and only after another 10 years of this, police will arrest SOME of these men for marrying 15-year-old girls at age 50, and getting them pregnant, like the last story about a compound like this. If you keep in contact with them, you will find out some of what is going on, and if it looks like they are doing some of these heinous practices, you can tell the authorities to investigate.
