Off the top of my head there's Mayall and Edmondson from Bottom (good job I got that the right way around hee hee).
Eddie Izzard is scrummy as well as intelligently funny.
Bill Bailey, Mark Thomas, Dara O'Briain, Ed Byrne, Spike Milliagan, Tommy Cooper, Dawn French, Michael Bentine, Peter Sellers...
Of course the Big Yin, Peter Kay...oh and the Monty Python crew (Terry Jones is my favourite there) and the list goes on...
Oh I love watching QI too...not strictly comedy maybe but always good for a few giggles. | |
