I have a friend who has found a solution. He goes to see sex wokers. His claim is: You don't play mind games with them. You pay and play. Me, I beleive in a healhty relationship, where both people are realistic and down to earth. But in the long run, Am I really right?

The potential crimminal record is the only problem in my mind. But on the other hand, politicians and some executives do use the services of sex workers without getting caught. | |

There was a time when the state religion endorsed prostitution....and made money off it too!
Safe clean sex can have its upsides.....including less violence against women (legalized sex workers don't get the crap like the local streetcorner druggie sl*t), less sexual crimes, less spread of diseases, and surprisingly, it would also lead to less break-ups in relationships. Why? Cause if you aren't getting it at home....there is always release. And, for those who want a bit more action, or want certain "kinky" things done your partner isn't into, this could form an excellent release. A new "sin tax" could be introduced, the proceeds going to (politicians pockets)err...hmmm...education. health and welfare, whatever.
It amazes me that so many women are against this tho. If they aren't providing for their man, what's he supposed to do? Same goes for women too! Guess they feel "inadequate", and maybe they actually ARE in certain areas, and need to look at themselves as to the "root cause" as to why men feel the need to "cheat". (I am NOT saying that it is all their fault...just an observation)

If you are so unsatisfied with your partner, ask her about it...talk it out...see a therapist. Do what you can to make things work out. Sure..there IS the chance of disease, and we all know how to take procautions. The criminal record thing is a moot point...just be careful, and use only one or two of the local sex workers. Try to remember that a lot of the money these women make goes right back into criminal hands too....you are part of the problem...not the solution!
Also...you are just having sex with this person..."sleeping with" someone is a far different ball game...for them it is "all in the money, honey!"....for your "sleeping partner" there is a warmth and commitment there that money can't buy! And a certaincy of a long and deeply involved relationship that can last to the grave... | |

In my younger years, I had plenty of female friends that just enjoyed having a fling with no strings attached once in a while. Why risk getting a disease, robbed, or arrested just to get off. Ihave come across many prostitutes in my business and I cannot think of any that I would ever be so desparate to use. My advice is to tough it out or find you a nice women with the common goal in mind. | |

That guys would risk their very lives and - in my opinion, their self-worth - to get their rocks off for one fleeting moment....totally escapes comprehension. Not to mention the COST fer cryin' out loud!

Basing owr feelings on this subject, as viewed through Western culture, is like batting at the wind. We can keep going at it forever and not gain any insight, nor answers. I propose "acceptance", that the worlds "second oldest" profession be acknowledged, and we, as a race, seem to have a monopoly on this corner of the sexual world. I can't think of any other animal that thinks "bartering for sex" is disgusting, a turn-off, or has any other negative connotations to it.
Let's not forget that some women are forced, or feel they are forced, into this trade. Certainly not ALL...some are very good at what they do, and, lest we forget, it IS all about the money.
More "hooking" goes on than meets the eye...from the housewife who "trades" with the local tradesmen or the landlord,, for small home improvements, or discounts on their purchases, to the "escort services" (not ALL of which engage in prostitution), to the single mom or young woman on the streets that feels the pressure of debt and feels that this may be a quick and easy fix to relieve financial debt. | |

If kids were exposed to it at an earlier age..I don't mean them actually going out and having sex with them, but just knowing that it exists, the closed-minded views of some parts of this world might begin to change. There are a lot worse things out there that shouldn't be legalized but are....cigarettes is one that pops into my mind..but that's another thread waiting to happen.
Just my 3 cents...

the skanks would walk down the street to the highway and back iwhith the guys....
there was a school and a store and kida all around. I saw them when i would visit them. The nieghborhood rallied to get them out....i think it worked but it was a hard fight. | |
