My sister told me about this one, so it's heard third party. Anyway here is a recipe for two ingredient muffins that are supposed to be about 180 calories per muffin.

The original recipe calls for a chocolate cake mix, but you can use any kind you want. Keep in mind if you use a white or yellow cake mix you'll want to add some spices to flavor things up!

You need:
Canned Pumpkin [15oz can] NOT the canned Pumpkin pie.
Chocolate Cake Mix.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix canned pumpkin and cake mix together. It's going to look like it won't work and you have to stir for forever but it will mix eventually.

Line muffin pan with cupcake/muffin papers. Put a dollop of mix in each paper. Bake in oven for 20 minutes.

These muffins will not rise and get fluffy like normal muffins. They almost look kind of scary [so it's normal if by the looks of it you think you did it wrong!] but taste very good!

Canned Pumpkin I don't get it why pumpkin? You like the taste?

Just wonder if the taste was worth all the work you know like how about cherry pie filling in a can mixed with choclote cake?

My sister makes a apple muffin with Jiffy mix and apple pie filling they rise up. Taste great. Not sure on the calories.

The idea of using pumpkin is it's a good source of fiber, and the caloric intake. Pumpkin really doesn't taste amazing, which is why if you don't use a chocolate cake mix you'll need to add cinnamon/nutmeg etc. to spice it up. It actually tastes pretty great with the chocolate cake mix, I was really surprised.
