| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 9:16:18 AM | | What do you think about men who tint or dye their hair? I prefer to see the natural color, even if it's gray. If I really like someone I will like their gray hairs too. Maybe there's something vain about a man who tints his hair another color than the natural color. Even though girls do it. | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 9:20:07 AM | | I tint mine the colour of my scalp...... People look at my head and think i have no hair but it's all because of scalp tint by loreal. Because i am worth it. | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 9:27:21 AM | I always have my white highlights professionally done because I certainly wouldn't want to look my age. I'm really only twenty one. well..... that's all I claim to be | |
|
| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 9:50:24 AM | | I don't have a problem with a man who tints his hair - as long as he keeps up with it. The inch long grey-white roots were pretty comical. | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 10:01:27 AM | Whoops! I think you've opened Pandora's Box with this one! I think in today's world and the cause and effect of advertisement with it's unique trappings - anyone can get hung up on the need to improve on one's self image. Personally? I was blessed with my mother's genes of no gray until after 70 - so probably not going to happen until then. But...I do see advertisement that targets men and their gray constantly on TV. Probably the same companies that target women and their gray. Soooo........? If it is ok for a woman to wish to hide the gray - why not a man? Personally? I think grayish or gray hair on a man is distinguished looking | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 10:25:29 AM | I am a hair nut. Love hair, longer the better, on the right person of course. My hair has had gray streaks in it since I was in my late twenties. I HATE it, think it ages me. So I color it.
I have absolutely no problem with a guy who colors, tints, or highlights his hair. Hell, if a guy wants to get transplants, I say go for it! If it makes YOU feel better about yourself, where's the harm? I love that guys seem to take more care with their appearance these days, both fashion wise and "beauty" wise. A guy with nicely done hair is attractive in my books, and shows he likes to take care of himself. There are some (just like women) who take it to far, they're not the ones I am talking about here.
I think anyone who makes them self look "plastic" is ridiculous, male or female. But simply putting a little color in your hair is fine. I feel better about myself when my gray is covered, why can't a man enjoy the same feeling?

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 10:29:34 AM | Well guys have the advantage over women in this area because its rarely that big of a concern if I guy has grey showing..
I think to a point it could be ok to dye but when I see an over 75 with black hair it get ridiculous

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 10:33:37 AM | | I'll admit I have double standards on this one. I like gray hair on men. I don't on women. | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 10:36:21 AM | Whatever works for the individual - its all about choice. And just because they like it doesn't mean anyone else has to...... Just as long as they don't use anything that runs down their face when it rains!

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 10:49:23 AM | Hey if it makes you happy, then go for it. Doesn't matter to me. To each his own. Salt and peeper hair is fine with me also. Gray in our hair hasn't anything to do with your age, you're just losing the color pigment in your hair. So if you are either a guy or a girl and want to color or highlight, go for it! | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 10:56:00 AM | That reminds me of living in Korea. Rarely do the men show their gray hair. Instead they all dye it jet black..... and it looks like "helmet" hair. And they use same dye as women.... black market l'oreal.
Nothing wrong with men dying their hair, as long as it looks natural.
I like gray and bald heads. I don't care for the round the head hair, (wrap around hair) bare on top, it makes me stare at it OR the ole comb overs........
I'd say, "what ever makes you happy, darlin". ceeceekitty

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 11:21:20 AM | i colour mine Cosmic Blue and jet black .
last year i met one of Satans daughters on this site and she told me to let my hair colour naturally , anyway, because iam sucker for dating Satans offspring i let it go grey, after a while people started to notice my hair colour-or the lack of black in it..........then she dumped me, anyway it went black again after that and quite often switches from Cosmic Blue and jet black tho i was thinking of doing my hair pink or bright red sometime soon.
i personally like to see women with fairly long jet black hair and i think it looks really sexy too when its tied in a ponytail......mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 11:23:12 AM | | I don't bother covering my grey as it's an extra expense for little gain. | |
|
| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 11:41:18 AM | | My ex keeps the hair on top of his head its nice natural grey but started tinting his goatee quite dark again after we broke up. Looks a bit silly and very fake, I think. But what do I know? | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 12:05:43 PM | | I've seen many gray haired men that look very handsome and sexy! | |
|
| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 12:08:06 PM | there are MANY men with jet black hair that are VERY handsome too...........
i personally think women with long jet black hair are VERY VERY sexy looking too , just as nice as blondies.

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 12:47:34 PM | stringbeen when you get all gray are you going to leave it like that or tint it ? Just sorta curious really WOMEN are very known to color highlight and do every trick they can to keep young looking so with this being said , I see nothing wrong with men doing the same .
My hair is naturally black as is my mothers and my sister and brother , part of my heritage . But i get teased since I am older that i do probably die it which i dont not yet .....But I admit I am a lotion girl want my skin to be soft smooth and stay as young as i can keep it ..

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 1:00:12 PM | | i like the silver fox look, anything else looks sort of " too noticable", especially mustaches and chest hair. | |
|
| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 1:21:27 PM | Ok, you got me. I DO dye my goatee. If I didn't it would be too grey and I dont like the way it looks. I'm not talking salt and pepper either, just salt lol. I have been told it looks good grey, but I dont like it. As far as my head goes, no need for dye. Just a Gillette Mach 3 will do thanks. | |

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 1:23:14 PM | a guy who colors his natural hair may be a bit vain ( nothing wrong with that, to be a little vain, is there? )... but a guy who wears a hairpeice.. woah, thats the worse of the worse in male vanity !
Mark Harmon ( actor) is an older guy who has gray hair... far as guys go... he looks good for his age and his is 100% gray. he is Gibbs on NCIS show, 57 years old ( looks much younger) and his real life wife is mindy from "mork and mindy" ... and she is much younger than he is.
I guess ANY hair color on a good looking guy will always be appealing... in some cases no hair...
but hair peices... now thats something else, total fakery.. and who would want to date a man who wears a wig. A guy who would wear a wig may even get bicep implants, penis implants... and things like that. ugh.....
thats just gross.

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 1:26:13 PM | Men are every bit as vain as women, and if dyeing their hair or beard suits them, more power to them.
And yes, I'm one of them, at least when it comes to my beard.
|
| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 1:31:15 PM | There is absolutely no difference in a man tinting his hair from a woman tinting hers.
However, toupees are OUT. Most of them do NOT even begin to match the rest of the hair and look like a squirrel's nest setting on a man's head. Bald heads are sexy, don't try to cover up baldness--shave the rest.
Oh, and the combovers--guys, they don't fool anyone.
|
| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 3:13:42 PM | gawd, i hope iam very very very old or dead before i lose all my hair, i dread being bald, dont like to see guys with shaved heads as they remind me of yobs and thugs.
i know of some guys my age who have lost quite a lot of their hair, OMG iam so very gratefull i still have a full head of hair, if i were to be bald now i would never go out of the house looking like that, i would wear a hat ALL the time when going out........i really dont like the thug look.
i personally couldnt care less what any one thinks of my hair when i colour it black or cosmic blue and whether its so obvious or not, iam strongly thinking of colouring it red next just to be different and for no other reason.

| Men Who Tint Their Hair Posted: 5/4/2008 3:18:33 PM | I just had this exact thing happen last week. I never even thought about it until a friend of mine lightened his hair. I look at him and I'm thinking his hair is strange looking kinda lighter with red and a hint of geen in it. I questioned it he said he had it lightened for the summer (bad dye job). I thought that's gay. I know, I know I'm a biotch I'm just wrong. But that's when I realized I don't like for men to color their hair. I like the gray in a mans hair and goatee it looks sexy as hell to me.
But I don't want any gray hair on me I color mine.
