Another mid-week idea.
Kits on 16th is holding a Comedy Detour on Wednesday nights.
The address is 720 16th Ave NW
Show starts at 8 pm.
I've heard the food is good (although I have never actually been there {yet}) and it is reasonably priced.
Prior to eating and drinking, I am going to take a walk through Confederation Park!
Will confirm exact location on Monday or Tuesday, but plan on parking in the lot on 14 st, and then take an hour or so walk.
Please feel free to join me and get some fresh air, prepare our lungs for the laugh fest that will take place upon arrival back at Kits! | |

And the place I thought to park and walk is actually on 10th St. There is a little lot on 10th ACROSS the street from the Rosemont community hall.
So Wednesday 6:30 walk through Confederation Park; 8:00 @ Kits for comedy! | |

This is a nice little pub. We had the Scavenger Hunt there a year ago and they have live Blues music there sometimes too.
Are the roads all fixed now? We had trouble getting in and out of there last summer.

I wasn't able to attend the scavengar hunt (another one this year?  )
They have live jazz, I think, on Thursdays, and then the jam sessions on the weekend.
Been getting my blues fix at Mikey's on Mondays!
Anyway, 6:30 to walk. 8:00 to laugh! | |

Sorry I missed you at the park. Since I hadn't signed up, and hadn't seen anyone else but you sign up, when no-one showed, I figured ... shrug. I waited the hour on Sunday, but it was cold out there tonight.
