Posted: 5/6/2008 5:04:28 PM | Esquire Magazine has an online article today titled "The 75 Skills Every Man Should Master". It's a pretty well-rounded, interesting list. I would like the POF Forum lurkers to build their own list of the things every man should know how to do well.
I will start:
1. Make at least one complete meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner, from scratch. (PBJ sammiches do not count as a meal.) | |

Sort of amusing, and a little condescending. If a man on this site knew how to do any number of things well, do you imagine it would make even one woman here more likely to take any initiative to meet him? When many women on this site presume that a given man probably doesn't have most of these (or similar) skills--and couldn't appreciate them if he did--what difference would it make if he had them? I could easily come up with a comparable list of skills that most women should have, but don't. | |
