Am I missing something here?

Okay so I put up some new pictures since I finally shopped my hair. I've really put a lot into my profile, yet I try to message/IM people and I just get the cold shoulder or the "the person chose not to respond to you" or they open the window and close the window.

You did what to your hair? Anyway, the pictures don't show you smiling and happy. None of them have good expression on your face.

I am not a fan of your headline. I do like the interests, though.

People know what albino is. It is not all that exotic a concept that you need to explain it.

Don't talk about taking the modest approach. Modest is something that should never be said of oneself. If you want to exclude drugs, put it in your mail restriction - don't talk about it in profile. It is negative sentiment, albeit a worthwhile one.

You are kidding about the first date, right? Take my word for it, very few long-term relationships are decided on the first date. Pick an activity and describe it.

You could use some smiley pics as the pics you have at the mo' look like you are un-happy and for me came across a bit arrogant.

I think most people know what an Albino is and you say you are Albino on your headline so this paragraph is irrelevant and comes across as negative in a few places, i would hit delete though upto you of course.

Yes, I am an albino. So you're asking, "hey Wayne, what's an albino." Well to answer your question would require me to recite an entire science book about human genetics. But let's skip that crap and let me just say I'm perfectly normal, I just don't have any pigment in my skin, eyes, or hair (yes my eyes change colors too; many love it. You probably would too) Other than that, I'm for the most part normal. So please for the love of whatever god you bow to, show some decency and respect.

Many people hate using im by the way. It is a real pain in ze ass with all the adverts that keep popping up.

Good luck :)

edited: sorry to bring up the same info, yev beat me to the post again lol but since i wrote it i will leave it :)

Wierd, I don't have any adverts popping up on my IM. You would think they'd implement some sort of link to a Yahoo or AIM messenger. Would make life a bit easier, as well as covos.

I'm never sure people do understand what an albino is. I'll take that into consideration.

I Chopped my hair, used to be long, but got tired of looking all bushy. Sorry for the typo.

I guess I'm just looking to try and meet people, when you get the words Read/Deleted in your mail, it does get annoying especially when you have things in common with the people you try and converse with.

I'll get a few smiley/silly pictures in there.

Maybe it's all that heavy metal music I record in the studio.

Okay made some tweaks, only thing I gotta do is get a couple newer pictures up. Now I need to elect what ones to dump out.

Thoughts.

YES! Y ou certainly are missing something. As a matter of fact, you are missing quite a few things. Lets start with the most important part. Describing WHO you are. All that text, and the lady has no clue WHO you are, ONLY what you like to do. They are NOT synonomous/interchangable. After you have done that, describe the lady you would like to meet,in the same way.

Best wishes

What you like to do IS a good chunk of who you are in my opinion.

Only when one is a murderous, cannibalistic necrophiliac.

Otherwise, one's hobbies do not determine who one *is*. Hitler was a decent watercolorist. I understand Stalin was an avid gardener. Idi Amin was known to be quite a good hand at golf. And Scarlett O'Hara was real good to her slaves; she gave them her hand-me-downs and suchlike.

hmmm let's see

I'm neither,
neither, and damn that's gross

Okay, so how do I go about explaining WHO I am when it's pretty obvious who I am.

I'm a musician, voice-over, actor, news writer, adventurous spirit who is looking for something similar. Doesn't have to have too many of the same interests, allows me to try new things

If you can read the profile, it does pretty much explain that.

I'm still open to what to put in there.
