1 banana (please peel it first and use the part that isn't the peel) 2 decent sized spoolfulls of peanut butter 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 cups mulch or milk (whichever you prefer, though milk is easier to drink) 1 tbsp. dark corn syrup or sweetener of choice (if necessary) 1 tbsp. lecithin granules or liquid form (no matter which) 1.5 tbsp. brewers yeast (a must) 1 tsp. vanilla extract (I use the pure) 1 egg (sometimes I add two)
Decent amount of ice cubes so when blended it's thick milkshake consistency.
Brewers yeast isn't something I'd imagine most folks would have in their cupboard but it's cheap enough and lasts a long time.

The only things I had different was adding strawberries (about 1/2 cup), no peanut butter, honey instead of corn syrup and about double the amount of Brewer's yeast.
Very good, but way off my diet now :(

| Brewers yeast morning shake Posted: 5/9/2008 7:06:25 PM | Come to think of it, I have been using frozen bananas, though not intentionally. And as for the yeast being avoided by women? *shrugs* I've heard avoiding bubble baths might be a good idea but I'd be surprised if brewers yeast would do much harm. Probably better for you than a Diet Pepsi or the likes.
Come to think of it, anyone with a Champion Juicer that hasn't put frozen bananas through the unit is missing a treat. Not through the strainer, but block the juicing strainer with the blank insert that comes with the unit and this pushes the frozen bananas into something that looks and tastes just like banana ice cream. Dang good stuff.
