| I am back. Posted: 5/8/2008 4:15:48 PM | I thought your profile was alright, but I would change 2 things...
firstly the pic with your giving the bird
secondly you put dating as what you are looking for then in the profile bit you say "hang out" it just might be giving a conflicting message to the ladies
happy fishing | |

| I am back. Posted: 5/8/2008 4:19:27 PM | Yes, impressing the ladies by flipping the bird, eh? Not a great idea. FGS, you're 24, you know better than that by now!
Agree with 4Dexter, decide what you want and then write your profile. So far, all you have is a few sentences about what you like to do, nothing personal at all.
Tip: Most women on a dating site are here to "date." We already have friends that we "hang out" with.

| I am back. Posted: 5/8/2008 4:23:42 PM | hi james, I would swap your pics over so that your main pic is the one of you on your own.other pic is good too but not as your main photo (i.m.o.) | |

| I am back. Posted: 5/12/2008 11:22:00 AM | Hi Taz, as a matter of fact I DO have a suggaestion. Tell us WHO you are and WHO you are loking for. You should have at least 2 words that describe you and her. Basicly all I know is you like to have a good time, ride your bike, and a little about you job. I have absolutely NO idea who you are. Take a look at my profile if you need to see an example of what I am trying to say.
best wishes
Jerry
PS. The reason I didn't take the time to give you a "full review" is I noticed the "bird" picture is still on your profile. I have better things to do than give good advice that will likely be ignored anyway.
best wishes

| I am back. Posted: 5/12/2008 11:49:14 AM | | I agree with the bird flipper comments. You ARE 24 right? That type of pic, for women I know anyway is a turnoff. It shows immaturity. Doing it with friends is one thing, posting it on a 'here's the best of me' website for dating, not a great plan. Am I wrong that POF profiles ought to be a best of the person, not just 'whatever' shots? | |

| I am back. Posted: 5/13/2008 3:06:27 PM | Ok Ok, I took down the picture of my FRIEND putting up a PEACE sign. his hand is tilted but there were clearly more than one finger up...
I can not belive you say you wont give me a "FULL" review because I chose not to take somones advice. I mean really come on now. Advice is stricktly that. I ask for it so I can take it into consederation when I make my next move. That being said, not helping me because I might not do exactly what you say when you say it is kinda stupid don't you think? I mean really what qualifies you as the POF master profile maker anyways.
Please do leave any and all advice and I will take it into consederation . I will try to figure out some more things to write, and I appreciate your time. But don't cut me down because you think I might ''ignore'' you. But if you truly have better things to do, then by all means do them..
PS> I do appreciate everyones advice. Thank you, I am no where near bad when I typed that. Just trying to get a point accross. Thank you everyone.

| I am back. Posted: 5/13/2008 3:34:40 PM | First of all, calm down and be patient, they say it's a virtue and all.
You need better pictures, at least half a dozen more. Get a variety of them posted. Ideally the main should be a close up of you.
You need to list more interests as these show up in searches, it is to your advantage to have more of them.
I tried to restructure your about me section so it would appear less shoddy, if you like it... copy/paste... up to you. You don't have a lot of information, but it might work.
I work full time during the week, but on weekends I can be found hanging out with friends, riding my motorcycle, taking pictures, or some other random adventure I get myself into. Life is about enjoying yourself, and I truly do.
I am looking for someone to go out with and take on some random adventures. I would love to find someone who loves life, and wants to explore it. Whether it's taking a ride on my motorcycle, snowboarding, or just hitting the road and having a good time.
Additionally, I love to cook, and just relax from time to time. I would love to find someone who can appreciate a night in, enjoying a home cooked meal, watching a movie or something. Just enjoying each other's company.
Hope this helps | |
