I say boys because more often than not this is how they seem to act. They do say that war does a lot of messed up things to an individual. My buddy who did two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq likes tootsie pops in his coffee, and he likes the taste of his toenails. Who knew?! | |

OP, since you are in the military, I'll give you more of a detailed review than other people.
Headline is not too exciting. Would come up with something more creative. And don't make it in all capitals. That is shouting, so not good.
Pictures:
1) Is good, but not good for main. For main you need the closeup of your face, smiling and happy. If you keep it, at least gamma correct it, so it is not washed out
2) Like pic, not the caption
3) Is good.
4) No, no, absolutely not. Put a tight T-shirt on to display your physique.
5) Too dark. Gamma correct it to be lighter
6) Make it go away. Would've been good shot if not for you know what.
7) Too far. Close in on you and your friend
8) Again, too dark. Gamma correct it, crop it to be closer. Can't even tell which one is you.
Interests. No, nicht, nyet. At least a dozen, separated by commas, make sure most are linked so they are searchable.
About me is way too short. Make it at least three paragraphs - on your interests, on your personality, on your match. For "Friends" profile, match is a bit less important, but the other two sections are needed.
First date - suggest idea and not just leave it open. "No Movie" thought is fine, but you need something specific as to what you would do. Doesn't mean the woman will like it and that it would be right for her, but she should have some idea what your plan is. | |

I dont know why you people are telling me to grow up I've had to grow up fast before I even joined the army I just know how to have fun don't hold that against me lol.
It's ok I can take positive and negative criticism, let me know what yall think of it now
and on the thing about me being on this site for a year, think about it 6 months of that year I wasnt able to get on this site and I barely got on it while i was in iraq we didnt have internet at first for one, so basicly I might as well be new to this site. | |

You get what you pay for. Right now I think you've banked enough equity here for a wildebest sandwich, and I'm not talk the African variety either. If you are actually serious about finding someone on here, and now I believe you are, then you have to put in the leg work. Sit down, make yourself comfortable, and put some words to the board. Check out the profile writing tips thread in this forum, and look at a bunch of profiles. Do your research.
We are telling you to grow up because you have a picture of you flipping us the bird. On a dating profile. What part of that makes ANY sense? Can you picture the kind of woman that'd find that hot? Would you date her? You would probably need to get in line behind the 12 other barflies she currently tags on a weekly basis, but momma will always make room for a young buck in the service.
Take it seriously, write a profile (I see no changes to the profile aside from the couple picture changes), and then come back and ask for help when you think it's done. | |
