What: JimBash 28: Jim, and Al's Spring Fling
Date: Sat May 17, 2008
Time: Party at 730pm, Music at 830pm
Top Casino Band SILVERADO will provide the musical entertainment. If there is a major fight/boxing match we will have it too. The nice Spring weather is here, sooooooo, why not enjoy it. Again Al will be co-hosting with his lovely park like Estate.
*****The party is BYOB and Potluck. Everybody should bring appetizers as desserts will be provided. (chips, dips, veggie trays, fruit trays, cheese trays, cookies, soda, ice, drinks, are needed, etc.--really whatever you want to bring to munch on..)
DIRECTIONS
(USE THESE DIRECTIONS AS MAPQUEST IS WRONG!!)
-Get your self to the intersection of Sahara and Tenaya.
-Head North On Tenaya
-First right on Via Olivero
-First left on Belcastro
-First right is the ENTRY to Shaw Circle
-Turn left on Shaw Circle
-The house is at the end of the street on left
-The address is 2220 Shaw Circle .
In is important to note that Shaw circle is a small street and you should NOT park on it. Please park on Via Olivero, Belcastro, or further up Belcastro there is Obannon Drive .

Posted: 5/14/2008 1:53:52 PM | Many have asked me why I included POF's as guests to my friends event. Well, I know for new people in LV, some are shy and it is hard to meet folks. Also, for women and really for men too, it is safer to meet in groups of people. But really, it's not just that. If you don't click, you can move on, meet other's and hopefully, not hurt any one person's feelings. I have also noticed that there are not too many single social functions that have been organized on here for some reason.
We weed out just the "sexual" interest only people this way who are just looking for "cyber" time.
The truth is many of us are looking for long term mates. Some are looking for short term dates. (hey I used to be a rapper so it rhymes, lol...NOT!)
But the real truth is I like to see people happy, hey maybe I'm a natural born matchmaker, lol.
If you make a new friend, well, hey that is good to. It is lonely being in a new town and this town is not always the friendliest to newcomers.
Also, for old time Vegans, or people that just ended relationships or friendships, events provide more opportunities. Not only for dating, but even job contacts!
So, that's why I volunteered to get the word out. No, I am not making any money on this.
Personally, I prefer to meet people in a large group, as I am a little wary and shy of meeting strangers in isolated locations. Most people are normal, but there are some wack-jobs out there, as I am sure many of u, both male and female will agree; sooo, I'd rather be safe then sorry.
